Weigh-ins to be held at IronLife Athletics ,on Friday The Divisions with weight classes, This does not matter for Highland games competitors.

ALL COMPETITORS PLEASE WEAR YOUR KILT FOR ANY AND ALL EVENTS.

Highland games portion will be held first , then strength and Backhold after. Important information to remember feats of Strength and Backhold wrestling Do not affect your scores in the Highland games portion.

Feats of Strength events are as follows

Strongman Caber of might. This is a 12×12 eight foot long piece of wood ????. Pick up and flip over as many reps as you can within the time limit.

Will developments   Stone Smorgasbord event.  Pick up as many different stones as possible.

WEIGHT CLASSES

Weight classes are the same for Men and Women so when Choosing Backhold Divisio  Class you'll be placed in the the Division you weigh in at, Unless you're doing the Open/all weight class Heavy Division. 

Those Weight Classes are as follows-

MEN AND WOMEN 

146 lbs

160.6 lbs

174.6lbs 

188lbs 

202lbs 

Open Heavy Weight/ALL weight classes 

On taking hold the  wrestlers stand up chest to chest,  each placing his chin on his opponent's right shoulder and grasping him round the body, each placing his left arm above the right arm of his opponent.

Thirty seconds shall be allowed in which to take hold.

Athletes must break the  hold of the other or force them to the ground. 

Only Finals Matches

Will be best of five.
