All athletes must have a valid Strongman Corporation membership to compete. At weigh ins, you will be required to log into your Strongman Corporation account and show that you have an active/valid membership. If you do not have a membership, you will not be able to compete. A Strongman Corporation membership can be bought on the day of weigh ins. If you do not currently have a Strongman Corporation membership and have no plans to compete in a Strongman Corporation event before this competition, I recommend waiting until the day of weigh ins to purchase it. Unlike USS, Strongman Corporation memberships are good for a full year from the day that you purchase the membership.

****Events and Rules:****
Ascending Zercher Pin Squat - Arsenal Athletics Axle Bar
Athlete will start standing fully upright. They will squat the bar down to the pins. Loaders will add weight to the bar and judge will give the squat command. Athlete will squat the bar up until they are standing fully upright. Judge will give the down command. Athlete will squat the bar down to the pins. Loaders will add weight to the bar. Judge will give the squat command. This process will repeat until the athlete can no longer squat the bar up. The bar must be squatted down to the pins with control, or the run will be finished. Max weight will win this event.
Wrist wraps, grip shirts, knee sleeves, elbow sleeves and belts are allowed. Tacky/tack cloth and suits are not allowed.
Axle Clean and Press - MBPC Axles
Athletes will have 60 seconds to clean the axle bar up to rack position, then press away for reps in a 60 second time limit. You do not have to clean each rep, but the rep must come down to your chest each time. You can split jerk, push jerk, or push press as long as your feet are together, and your head is through when the weight is locked out.
Athletes will be given a down command for each rep. Do not jump the down command, or you will be given a no rep. You may re- clean it if you drop the weight and attempt again as long as it is within the 60 seconds. Belt cleans are allowed.
Wrist wraps, grip shirts, knee sleeves, elbow sleeves and belts are allowed. Tacky/tack cloth is not allowed.
Max Silver Dollar Deadlift - 35mm Squat Bar with MBPC and Ellis Metals Works Silver Dollar Implements
On the start command, the athlete will have 60 seconds to complete their rep. Down command will be given by the judge once they see that you are completely locked out and in control. We are looking for solid lockouts. Down command will not be given if your knees and hips are soft or if you aren't able to stand fully erect with the shoulders back. Dropping the bar from lockout will result in a failed lift. Do not drop the bar, do your best to control it back down to the floor. Hitching is allowed. You have the full minute to attempt the weight. If you fail during the 60 seconds, you may re-attempt the weight within the time limit.
Wessels rules will be used. What this means is that you will get three attempts to pull a max deadlift. If you miss an attempt, you are out so make sure you choose your weight selection wisely. Athletes can jump in at any time. The weights will only go up so make sure you don't wait too long.
Weight jumps will be 55lbs.
Suits, straps, briefs, sleeves, wrist wraps, and belts are allowed. Tacky/tack cloth is not allowed.
Inukshuk Max Distance Sandbag Carry - Inukshuk Sandbags
Athlete will have 30 seconds to initiate the lift once the go command is given. Athlete will pick up the sandbag and carry it around the pen for as long as they possibly can. There is no time limit, once you drop the bag, the run is finished.
Wrist wraps, grip shirts, knee sleeves, elbow sleeves and belts are allowed. Tacky/tack cloth is not allowed.
Ascending Head-to-Head Sandbag Load - Cerberus Strength Sandbags
This event will be conducted tournament style. 1st vs 2nd place, 3rd vs 4th, 5th vs 6th etc. On the go command, the lifter will have 10 seconds to start the lift. They must load the bag over the bar. Once the bag hits the ground, the person receiving the bar will have 10 seconds to start the lift. If the bag lands funky, the volunteers will reset the bag, then the time will start. Bag reset will be at the judge’s discretion, not the athletes. You will load back and forth until you complete three successful attempts at that weight. If a lifter fails to return the bag they are out. The remaining lifter will still need to complete their three reps. They will be allotted 30 seconds between reps to account for the missing lifter. Once all athletes in a class have finished at one weight, the groups will be condensed to the lifters remaining and we will go up in weight. This will continue until there is only one athlete remaining.
Weight Jumps:
75, 130, 150, 180, 200, 250, 280, 300, 330, 350, 380, 400, 450
