CASH PRIZES for all open classes first place $100.00 (excluding novice classes). Custom Trophies for 1st place, medals for 2nd & 3rd places.
Event 1. Max DL- Wessels rule applies, straps, suits, chalk allowed. 60 seconds per attempt. Deadlift bar will be used. Conventional only (hands must be on the outside of the lifters legs).
Event 2. Log clean and press- 60 second time limit. Must clean every attempt. Belts, chalk, elbow sleeves, knee sleeves allowed. No Tacky.
Event 3. Farmer's Walk- Weight will be walked 50 feet down. Drop,turn and bring back. No straps or tacky. Chalk, as many drops as needed with a 60 second time limit.
Event 4. Front hold- Implement will be held at arm's length for as long as possible. Competitors will stand with their back against the wall with no excessive back arch. Still testing for this. For now, train with dumbbell fully extended for training.
Event 5. Stone- 48-inch height for all competitors, with a 60 second time limit. Tacky allowed.
Weigh-ins at venue Friday May 13th, 2022: 5:00pm-7:00pm & Saturday may 14,2022 7:30am-9:00am.
Rules at 9:20am.
Meet starts at 10:00am sharp. This event will be outdoors weather permitting, plan accordingly.
Special Guest: Willie Wessels as MC.
