WHAT: King Of The North Strongman Challenge 

WHEN: March 29th, 2025 // 2PM

WHY: For the spoils of war

HOW: By any means necessary 

*Weigh ins will be at the event center. SAME DAY WEIGH INS SAT. MARCH 29th 9AM-12PM NO EXCEPTIONS

This competition will be running athletes through the gauntlet of strength, speed, and peril. Only those with the ability to tune out emotion, block the pain, and force their mind to silence the fear shall cross the finish line. Each event will be done in one continuous effort until either the time cap is reached or the athlete quits. There is a 3 minute time cap to complete all 5 events. 

** Each athlete will compete to finish all 5 events in 3 min or under. If the time cap is reached then reps will be counted and used as a score. Once each athlete has competed, final scores will be tallied with the fastest time/most reps being the winner. Any athlete that did not place in the top 3 spots can challenge a podium finisher. The challenger will complete the course again in hopes of beating the podium finisher's score. If that score is beat, the podium finisher has one last decision to make. Run the course a second time to prove they are one of the best, or surrender their position to the challenger. 

EVENT 1 – Axle Wagon Wheel Deadlift - 5 REPS - Athletes will have to complete 5 fully locked out reps before advancing to the next event. 

EVENT 2 - Log Clean And Press - 5 REPS - Athletes will have to complete 5 fully locked out reps before advancing to the next event.

EVENT 3 –  Farmer's Carry - 50' DISTANCE - Athletes will have to complete a 50' carry with both implements fully crossing the finish line before advancing to the next event.

EVENT 4 -  Sled Drag - 50' DISTANCE - Athletes will have to complete a 50' drag with the implement fully crossing the finish line before advancing to the next event.

EVENT 5 –  Sandbag To Shoulder - 5 REPS - Athletes will have to complete 5 fully locked out reps before completing and recording a time. 

AWARDS per class for 1st - 3rd.
