Strongman Corporation membership is required of all athletes and must be presented at check in. 

WEIGH INS: 

  • Friday, July 18th: 8:O0-10:00am in Goffstown, NH
    • 5:00-7:00pm at American Fitness
  • Saturday, July 19th: 8:00am-9:00am at American Fitness

TIME: 

  • Doors Open: 8:00am to athletes, 9:00am open to the public
  • Rules Meeting: 9:30am
  • Contest Start: 10:00am

Spectator Admission: $10 at the door, children 12 and under free.  

All proceeds will be donated to a New Hall based charity to be announced. 

 

Nationals Qualification:

  • 1 athlete in a class: the promoter may merge the class with another class; if the athlete competes alone they will earn an invite by completing (i.e. not “zeroing”) at least 4 of the 5 events to the standards originally set forth by the promoter.
  • 2-4 athletes in a class: 1st place qualifies for Nationals
  • 5-9 athletes in a class: 1st and 2nd place qualify for Nationals
  • 10+ athletes in a class: 1st-3rd place qualify for Nationals
  • Top 3 athletes in Masters classes qualify for America's Strongest Master
    • All qualifications for Masters or amateur Nationals can be for 2025 or 2026
  • All teen competitors qualify for 2026 America's Strongest Teen

Axle Clean & Press, every rep

Length: 60 seconds

Belts, wrist wraps, sleeves, and chalk/liquid chalk (including Chalkless).

Athlete may start with hands on the implement before the “Go” command, but implement must remain on the ground. Athlete must bring implement back to the floor and re-clean each rep. Split jerk, push press, and push jerk are all allowed. 

A good rep is hips square, feet parallel, and elbows locked out. If using a split jerk, feet must come to parallel before the down command. Athlete must have control over the implement. Athletes must wait for the DOWN command from their judge. Belt cleans are allowed.

Last Man Standing Double Overhand Deadlift 

Length: 30 seconds each attempt

Belts, wrist wraps, sleeves, chalk, liquid chalk (including Chalkless). No straps or tacky product of any kind.

Athletes will all start at the same weight and must take every weight jump. Women’s weight jumps 10#, men’s 20#. Conventional stance only, no sumo. Must pull double overhand with no straps. Hitching and ramping allowed. Hook grip allowed.

Sandbag Carry for distance

Length: 60 seconds

Belts, wrist wraps, sleeves, chalk and Strongman Corp or Cerberus grip shirt may be worn. No gloves or tacky product of any kind. 

Athlete will start behind the line, at the “Go” command they will pick the sandbag and carry the sandbag as far as possible within the time limit. Turns at 25’, no drops allowed. Sandbag must be carried in front of the body, no shouldering. Sandbags used will be a mix of Cerberus dual ply sandbags, Cerberus heavy duty sandbags and Ironmind sandbags.

Standing Arm of Arm Sled Pull

Length: 60 seconds

Belts, wrist wraps, sleeves, chalk, liquid chalk (including Chalkless). No straps or tacky product of any kind.

Athlete will be behind the line, at the “Go” command they will grab the rope and arm-over-arm pull the sled until the front skis of the implement cross the line. Athlete must remain standing. 10 second penalty for any athlete who steps over the line. Distance approx 35 feet. 

Pinch Block Hold for Time

Length: Unlimited

Belts, wrist wraps, sleeves, chalk, liquid chalk (including Chalkless). No straps or tacky product of any kind.

Athlete may start with their hand on the implement, on the “Go” command they will lift the implement and hold for as long as possible. Only one hand may be used to lift the implement. Implement cannot be pressed against the athlete’s leg and elbow cannot be propped up on the athlete’s belt. Hips must be square and knees locked. Women will use a 2” pinch blocks and men with use a 3” pinch block, both will be using a 12” loading pin with a carabiner. Must be held in front of the body. WEIGHTS LISTED DO NOT INCLUDE THE PIN OR THE PINCH BLOCK. This is what will be added to the implement.
