Lift Hard Live Easy IV

This is the official Strongman event at the 2026 Lift Hard Live Easy Classic in Aberdeen, SD. This event will occur on Friday, 7/17/26. This will be a fast paced show with only 50 competitors and 5 events. Total show time is estimated at 5-6 hours.
Weigh-ins: Friday, July 17th; 7am to 9am at the Best Western Ramkota Event Center. This event will happen the same day, 2 hour weigh-ins.
The Pre Party: Lager's Inn; 6-11pm Thursday Night- 7/16
The Strongman After Party: Tanner's Backyard + Scwhann’s Recreation (once Tanner kicks us out)- 7/17
Powerlifting After Party: The Zoo Bar; to end the weekend on a high note, till bar close!- 7/18
Events and Rules:
Press Medley:
3 Implements, Circus Dumbbell, Tsunami Bar Max, and Log. Tsunami Bar and CDB will be for a single rep, the log will be for reps in the remaining time. 75 second time limit.
Judges will give the down command after each successfully completed rep is lifted overhead; meaning, elbows are locked, and feet are even underneath hips, with the implement under control.
Belt Cleans are allowed on tsunami bar.
If the log is off the crash pads and in the midst of any portion of the clean or press when the 75 second time limit is hit, the rep will be counted if successfully completed.
Wrist wraps, sleeves (1 pair), 1 hard belt and 1 soft belt are allowed.
Tacky, suits, gloves, built up belts, elbow wraps are not allowed.
Max Monster Bar Deadlift:
3 attempts to achieve highest deadlift. Rising bar, if you miss an attempt, you are OUT.
10 lb jumps for women, 20lb jumps for men.
Monster deadlift bar from StrongArm Sport will be utilized.
Tacky, suits, gloves, built up belts, elbow wraps are not allowed.
Any type of strap are allowed. No hooks. Belts and wrist wraps allowed.
Knee High deadlift socks must be worn at minimum. No bare feet, but shoes are optional.
Farmer Carry/ Tire Flip:
Athletes will carry 1 set of farmer carry handles (1 handle in each hand, on the outside of the athlete’s legs) roughly 30ft. Once the FRONT of the farmer carry handles are across the end line, athletes will drop the implements and then begin to flip the tire (end over end) back to starting point. Time will be stopped once the tire crosses the finish line in any capacity.
Fastest time wins.
60 second time limit.
Dropping farmer handles allowed.
5 second slide penalty if handles are drug/ slide across finish line instead of carried.
No rolling or twisting of the tire in attempt to have it move without flipping allowed.
Gloves, sleeves allowed.
Not suits, tacky, or adhesive substances.
Crispy Boy Carry:
3 kegs will be carried roughly 20ft. They will be placed into an 4ft tall Drink spotter
Fastest time wins. 60 second time limit.

Not suits, tacky, or adhesive substances.
ROCKS:
Our classic mystery event.
You get one hint this year. ROCKS.
Natural stones? Atlas stones? Tanner’s Landscaping Stones? Pea Gravel? Carrying them? Loading them? Pressing them? Throwing them? Licking them? Loading Pea Gravel into 5-gallon buckets?
