- We will weigh in in the morning of the competition at the Fieldhouse at Buckhannon-Upshur High School. The event will take place at the FFA barn (a fully covered venue, so do not feel the need to bring a sunshade) near campus.
- Weigh-ins from 7AM-9:30AM
- Rules meeting starts at 9AM, warm-up after
- Competition starts at 10AM
- Farmer's Walk
- Weight is per hand
- Max distance in 60s time limit
- Unlimited drops
- Belts and chalk only (no straps)
- Turns at 100ft
- Press Medley
- Clean and press each implement in order
- DB can be cleaned with two, pressed with one, completing one rep with each hand
- Can start with hands on implement
- Weights subject to change
- Clean and press each implement in order
- Braemar Stone Put
- Three attempts to throw a river stone as far as possible
- Farthest distance wins (in case of tie, go to second best throw from each of the tied competitors)
- No approach allowed (no spin, no glide, front-out only)
- Moving past the block/trig will result in a fault
- Hoist the Cargo
- Standing vertical arm-over-arm pull
- lifting from the ground to a ~12ft height
- Max reps (time tiebreaker)
- 3/4" rope
- Weight subject to change with testing

- Treasure Chest Deadlift
- 12" deadlift with a straight bar
- Plates will sit on 3in platform
- 3 attempts for max weight
- Wessels rule with ascending bar
- If you fail, you are out
- Bar will never go back down in weight
- Straps allowed, chalk allowed, suits allowed
- 12" deadlift with a straight bar
