This is the First (hopefully annual) Limit Breaker Invitational Strongman Competition. We are inviting 20 Athletes from in and around Alabama to go head-to-head in one of the heaviest comps around. There will be 2 divisions a heavy and light divided by a 231lbs weight limit. Like the name implies it is by invitation only BUT!!!!!! if you feel you deserve an invite or know someone that does Email Chris Ellison and submit your nomination.  Subject should read "Limit Breaker Nomination" All invitations will come with a coupon code to register here on Iron podium.  

We want this to be a crowd pleaser, so we want to know who you want to see! We will be selecting the majority based off of other competitions and personal knowledge, but we are limited in our reach throughout the state and are asking you to toss out some heavy lifters. Doesn't have to just be strongmen, some powerlifters are already on the list

All Ticket sales are final, and we do have an option for VIP seating on the Mezzanine that is limited. This will give you early entry into the facility and give you an ariel view of the entire competition. To secure a ticket please email Chris Ellison at the above email address. We will host this in our home gym of Ellison Fitness Innovations and hope to be able to increase the tickets but for now we are limited to 25.

Events- What you really want to know- These are not the final order Events and weights are subject to change.

Mammoth Bar Deadlift Max: Rising bar style, Competitors will be allowed to skip weights or make as many attempts as they choose until failure. Weight jumps have not been finalized

Log Press Max: Much like the deadlift, there will be no limits on the attempts. 

Super Yoke Carry: By that I mean some serious weight for max distance. We will be inside in a limited space so if by chance a competitor reaches the end, they will have the option to turn and go back during their 60 second attempt.

Max out loading event: Think Load medley without the running.  We will have over 2600lbs of sandbags and a platform of some kind. Winner will be who loads the most weight onto the platform. If we run out of weight it will be who did it the fastest. 60 second time limit 

Captain America Hold- This will be a surprise event until we finalize the details.
