General Information

This will be a United States Strongman sanctioned competition.

Must have Current 2022 USS Membership in order to compete. 

This competition is capped at 50 competitors. 

Awards and Prizes

All 1st place competitors in each class/division qualify for USS Nationals 2022 or 2023 based on registration levels for 2022.

Prizes will be awarded for top three finishers in each class/division

Weigh-In

Day of event weigh-in will begin at 8:00AM (all times are EDT)

Weigh-ins may be done the evening prior to the event with prior coordination.  Contact Meet Director for details.

Hotel

Numerous hotels are in the area including Super 8, Best Western and Holiday Inn Express.  Currently no discounts are available.

Last Man Standing - Standard Height Deadlift

• 30 sec or 2 attempts in the 30 sec.
• EVERY increase in weight will be done by each athlete until one athlete remains.
• A line will be formed. As people drop out, the line will become shorter. Meaning you will have less time between reps. If the score keeper calls your name and you are not standing at the platform you will finish with the number performed.
• 20lb weight jumps for Women Classes.
• 30lb weight jumps for Men Classes.
• Competitor will have 30 seconds to get strapped in, ammonia sniff, etc
• Competitor must wait for “DOWN” command for rep to count (Hips & knees locked out)
• Athlete must remain in control of the bar.  No dropping allowed
• Fingers must be wrapped around the bar - No hanging bar on straps
• No bouncing of implement
• Equipment allowed: lifting straps, figure 8 straps, hard belt, soft belt, chalk, knee sleeves, elbow sleeves, wrist wraps
• Equipment NOT allowed: tacky/grip spray, deadlift suits/squat suits

Relay Medley (Yoke, Farmer's Carry, Sandbag)

• 50' Course
• Athlete will carry implement from the start line to the finish line and run back to get next implement until all three are across the finish line.
• Implements will be carried in the same order by all athletes as prescribed in the rules briefing.
• Equipment allowed: soft belt, hard belt, chalk, wrist wraps, knee sleeves, elbow sleeves, grip shirts
• Equipment NOT allowed: SC/OCG grip shirts, wrist straps (of any kind), tacky, sticky spray, adhesive of any kind

Harness Truck Pull (50 feet) - Type of truck will be announced later on the Facebook page

• Equipment allowed: soft belt, hard belt, chalk, wrist wraps, knee sleeves, elbow sleeves
• 60 seconds from judge's command to complete pull
• Fastest time wins
• If time runs out, distance will be counted
• Equipment allowed: Knee sleeves, elbow sleeves, gloves, wrist wraps, hard belt, soft belt, chalk
• Equipment NOT allowed: Tacky, adhesive of any kind

Log Clean and Press for Reps

• 60 seconds from judge's command to complete lift
• Athlete must clean once and then press for reps
• If athlete drops log, the final rep will be counted prior to the drop
• Log Size: Men-12”, Women-10”
• Elbow(s) must be locked out/feet parallel and in control in order to receive good lift from judge
• Equipment allowed: soft belt, hard belt, chalk, wrist wraps, knee sleeves, elbow sleeves, grip shirts
• Equipment NOT allowed: wrist straps, tacky

5 Atlas Stone Series for Time

• Platform height: Men-52”, Women-48”
• Stones must be loaded in order from lightest to heaviest
• Equipment allowed: soft belt, hard belt, knee sleeves, elbow sleeves, wrist wraps, stone sleeves, tacky, grip spray, grip shirts
• Equipment NOT allowed: forklift, winch, platform shoes
