General Information

This will be a United States Strongman sanctioned competition.

Must have Current 2023 USS Membership in order to compete. 

Awards and Prizes

All 1st place competitors in each class/division qualify for USS Nationals 2023 or 2024 based on registration levels for 2023.

Prizes will be awarded for top three finishers in each class/division

Entry Fees:

$55 Ultra Early Bird Discount is registered by August 31, 2022

$65 Early Bird Discount if registered by December 31, 2022
$75 After EB Discount
No day of registrations
Any entries received after April 7, 2023 are not guaranteed a t-shirt

Weigh-In

Day of event weigh-in will begin at 8:00AM (all times are EDT)

Weigh-ins may be done the evening prior to the event with prior coordination.  Contact Meet Director for details.

Hotel

Numerous hotels are in the area including Super 8, Best Western and Holiday Inn Express.  Currently no discounts are available.

Event Rules & Information

***All events, weights & rules are subject to change without notice up to & including the day of the competition 

- Any intentional disregard or disrespect for the staff, promoters, fellow competitors, spectators, facility and/or equipment, will result in a zero for the event and possible disqualification from the entire competition

- Bullying of any kind will not be tolerated. Period

- Judges decision is final

- If you wish to argue a decision on the event, please come to Daniel and/or Stephen with video proof only after all events are finished before we tabulate final standings.

YOKE DEADLIFT FOR REPS
- 60 second time limit

- As many reps as possible within the time limit

- Athlete must wait for down command

- Touch and go allowed

- All 4 feet of yoke must touch at bottom

- No sumo style

- Equipment allowed:

- Chalk, Soft Belt, Hard Belt, Wrist Wraps, Straps, Elbow Sleeves, Knee Sleeves/Wraps

- Equipment not allowed:

- Tacky, Straps W/ Hooks, Supportive Suits

TIRE THROW FOR DISTANCE

- Throwing Field parameters will be similar to a discus throwing field

- Athlete will have 3 attempts for max distance

- Athletes must stay within the throwers circle during attempt.

- Tire must remain within "throwing field"

- Equipment allowed:

- Chalk, Soft Belt, Hard Belt, Wrist Wraps, Elbow Sleeves, Knee Sleeves/Wraps

- Equipment not allowed:

- Tacky, Straps W/ Hooks, Supportive Suits

OVERHEAD PRESS MEDLEY (BLOCK>LOG>VIKING)

- Any intentional disregard for the equipment will result in a zero for the event.

- 60 second time limit

- Must wait for down command on every lift

- Block-Clean and press once, Log clean and press once, viking-press away

- No split times

- Equipment allowed:

- Chalk, Soft Belt, Hard Belt, Wrist Wraps, Elbow Sleeves, Knee Sleeves/Wraps

- Equipment not allowed:

- Tacky, Straps W/ Hooks, Supportive Suits

FARMER'S HOLD (This can be a USS National Record Breaker)

- For max time.

- Time starts at lockout

- Time ends when either implement hits the floor

- Equipment allowed:

- Chalk, Soft Belt, Hard Belt, Wrist Wraps, Elbow Sleeves, Knee Sleeves/Wraps

- Equipment not allowed:

- Tacky, Straps W/ Hooks, Supportive Suits

MYSTERY EVENT

- Event will be announced at rules meeting 

- It will be a fastest time wins event

- Equipment allowed:

- Chalk, Soft Belt, Hard Belt, Wrist Wraps, Elbow Sleeves, Knee Sleeves/Wraps

- Equipment not allowed:

- Tacky, Straps, Supportive Suits
