- Check Ins & Weigh-Ins @ Heavy Metal Fitness: 9am - 12pm and 4pm - 7pm
- ALL ATHLETES REGARDLESS OF WEIGHT CLASS MUST CHECK IN!!!
- Please be prepared to give your deadlift opener and yoke height

- Athlete Group Photo: 9:50am
- Athlete Warm Up: 8am - 9am & immediately following rules meeting until 9:50am
- Event Start: 10am
The competition will be sanctioned through Strongman Corporation. You MUST have membership card by the time of weigh in. These can be purchased through the Strongman Corporation website linked below:

Events

Event #1) AXLE PRESS AWAY LADDER
- 60 second time limit
- Knee & elbow sleeves, wrist wraps, and belts are all allowed.
- This event will be a 3-Axle series escalating in weight.
- The athlete will attempt to perform: x3 reps with the first (lightest) axle, x2 reps with the second axle, x1 rep with the last (heaviest) axle.
- The axle does NOT have to be cleaned each rep. The athlete may choose to perform "press away" repetitions.
- In order to earn a "down" command from the judge resulting in a successful rep: the athlete must have fully locked-out arms, be standing in full extension, and exhibiting complete control of the bar.
- There will be NO penalty for the athlete using their belt during the clean.
- The athlete will be credited with the time in which the event is completed, or the number of successful repetitions (with split-time) in the case of non completion.
Event #2) SANDBAG STEEPLE CHASE
- 75 second time limit
- This event will be a 2-sandbag series: (1) Strongman sandbag and (1) Husafell sandbag
- The athlete can start with the sandbag of their choice.
- The first loading bar will be 30-35ft from the starting line, and the 2nd loading bar will be 30-35ft from the first.
- The first sandbag attempted must be loaded over both bars before the athlete can transition to the second bag.
- The athlete will be credited for their time of completion once the the 2nd bag has been loaded over both bars.
- If the athlete cannot complete the event within the time limit, they will be credited with the distance achieved.
- Shouldering will be allowed.
- Tacky will not be allowed.
Event #3) MAX DEADLIFT (deadlift bar / from the ground)
- 30 second time limit to complete each attempt
- Straps (including figure 8s), wrist wraps, knee sleeves, and belts are all allowed.
- Deadlift suits, briefs, and knee wraps will NOT be allowed.
- This event will be a "rising bar" format with pre-selected weight jumps.
- The athlete will have the option to attempt or pass on each weight offered.
- There will be a limit of 5 attempts per athlete.
- The athlete must be fully "locked out" (knees, hips, upper back extended) and display complete control in order to earn a "down" command from the judge resulting in a successful rep.
- You must control the bar back down- do NOT drop the bar. This will result in a failed rep.
- If the athlete fails an attempt, the event is over for that athlete and they will be credited for their last successful lift.
Event #4) MAX SANDBAG TOSS SERIES
- 60 second time limit
- The sandbags will rise in weight each attempt (+5lbs)
- Each athlete will start with the predetermined sandbag in accordance to his/her weight-class and division.
- Upon each successful throw, the athlete should immediately attempt the next sandbag (+5lbs.)
- Within the confines of total available sandbags, there is no limit to how many successful throws the athlete can achieve.
- The event will end for the athlete- with 3 consecutive missed throws or the expiration of time.
- Missed throws must be retrieved by the athlete.
- The athlete with the most successful attempts will win.
- In the event that there is a tie between athletes, the winner will be determined by who had the least amount of attempts leading up to the last successful throws.
Event #5) DEATH METAL MEDLEY
- 75 second time limit
- Yoke Carry x 30ft --> Stretcher Sled Reverse Drag x 40ft --> Torque Tank Sled Push x 50ft
- The medley must be completed in the order given.
- Each implement must completely cross a predetermined finish-line before transitioning to the next implement.
- Athletes will be allowed unlimited drops during the Yoke carry.
- Upon completion of the entire medley the athlete will be credited for their recorded finish time.
- If the entire medley cannot successfully be completed, then the achieved distance at the expiration of the time limit will be measured and credited to the athlete.
