Caw! Caw! Mullet Eagle is back to kick off the summer with strongman, sun, and festival fun!

The Events:

Event 1: Axle with Tires Press

Clean and press a 2” axle overhead for reps. All weights will be on an axle bar, with everything over 220 pounds on an axle with tires. One clean, press away. Chalk, grip shirts, elbow sleeves are all fine.

Event 2: Vehicle Deadlift

You’ll have a vehicle on a frame behind you, and 60 seconds to deadlift it as many times as possible. Handles will be at your side (similar to doing a trap bar deadlift). Chalk and straps are fine. No deadlift suits.

Event 3: Sandbag Toss

You’ll have 60 seconds to toss three throwing bags over the crossbar behind you. This year, we’ll use sandbags with handles. Women will have a 12 foot high crossbar, Men will use a 14 foot crossbar.

Event 4: Harnessed Truck Pull

Get in a harness and drag a big truck behind you down Main Street Manteno. Last year, we pulled a HUGE Ford F650. We’re hoping to get the F650 again or another great vehicle. There will be a guide rope.

The Festival:

Heroes, Hogs, and Hot Rods is an annual festival that benefits Project Headspace and Timing, an amazing charity that helps veterans and the local community. In additional to the strongman awesomeness, there will also be a car show, vendor fair, live music, food, veteran’s resources, and more! Bring your family and friends out for a whole day of fun!

Guest Judge:

Pro Strongwoman Inez Carrasquillo will be our special guest judge! Inez is fresh off her win at this year’s Arnold Strongman Classic. She also holds the current title North America’s Strongest Woman, is the 2024 Rogue Invitational winner, and holds the Log Press World Record! Plus, she’s an all-around great person, and you’ll love meeting her! 

Live Stream:

Family far away? Fear not - They can watch your competition live (for free!) on our One Way Strength Channel on YouTube. Laarni Mulvey of Athlete Ready Sideline Sports will be streaming with play by play and commentary. Your fans can ask her questions and wish you well, and the replay will be available for you to watch later or go over with your coach. 

Parking:

Parking is free and available throughout town.

Nationals:

This competition is a qualifier for USStrongman  Nationals, and you’ll need a 2025 USS membership to compete.

Shirts

All athletes will be given competition shirts which must be worn during the contest.

Early weigh-ins will be available at the One Way Strength clubhouse in St. Anne Saturday or you can weigh in Sunday morning before the competition starts.
