The 2025 Nebraska's Strongest strongman competition will be at Frontier Harley-Davidson in Lincoln, Nebraska. Athletes will be tested on pressing, deadlift, grip, and endurance. Weigh-ins can be done the day before on November 7th from 6pm-8pm at Goliath Nutrition (1733 O St, Lincoln, NE 68508). Weigh-ins on competition day will be done at Harley-Davidson starting at 8:30am. Rules meeting will be at 9:30am. Competition will start at 10am sharp. If a competitor wants a competition t-shirt they must sign up no later than October 11th. This event will be free for spectators and we ask you to bring your own chairs. Also, there will be raffle prizes and all the proceeds from the raffle will be donated to the Correctional Peace Officers Foundation. (CPOF) It is a national, non-profit charitable organization dedicated to supporting the surviving families of Correctional Officers who lose their lives in pursuit of their chosen profession. Event 1: Max Deadlift
This will be a rising bar format. Athletes will be given 60 seconds to complete 1 rep. Wessels rules apply. If you miss a rep you are out. Socks are required to be worn. Athletes are only allowed to wear one hard belt and one soft belt at one time.
Equipment allowed: straps, figure 8's, briefs, deadlift suits, baby powder, knee sleeves, hard belt, soft belt, liquid chalk, chalk
Equipment not allowed: baby oil, tacky, tacky towel
Event 2: 3 Bag Sandbag Carry
There will be 3 sandbags set at different distances - 50', 25', 10'. Athletes will start with their hand on the yoke and must start from the lightest sandbag to the heaviest sandbag. Athletes are not allowed to throw the sandbag over the bar. It must be placed over the bar. The men's open class will use Cerberus atlas stone sandbags. This will be for fastest time. If athletes cannot complete all 3 sandbags, the distance will be marked for the distance completed. Time will stop when the last sandbag is placed over the bar.

Event 3: Log for Reps
Athletes will have 60 seconds to complete as many reps as possible for log press. This will be clean and press away. If a athlete drops the log from above their head on purpose it will be an automatic disqualification. Athletes will be given one warning if they drop the log before the down command. After that, the athlete will receive a no rep call. Women will use a 10" Titan log and men will use a 12" Titan log. If the athletes drop the log and it rolls off the bumper pads, they will be required to go get it. Socks are required to be worn.

Equipment not allowed: doubling up on elbow sleeves, wearing cuffs and elbow sleeves at the same time, tacky, tacky towels
Event 4: 3 Bag Sandbag Toss
Athletes will have 60 seconds to complete 3 bags over a bar. If an athlete misses twice in a row, they are out. Novice women LW, novice women HW, open women LW, open women MW, and masters women will have a 10' bar. Open women HW, open women SWH, novice men LW, novice men HW, open men LW, open men MW, and master men will have a 12' bar. Open men HW and open men SWH will have a 15' bar.

Equipment not allowed: tacky, tacky towels
Event 5: Sandbag Over Bar
Athletes will have 60 seconds to have as many reps as possible over a bar. Athletes will go back and forth placing the sandbag over the bar. Women will use a 48" bar and men will use a 52" bar.

Equipment not allowed: tacky, tacky towels
Tie Breaker:
If there is a tie breaker, athletes will be counted back on points on who won the most events. If the events still equal a tie, then a tug of war will be announced.
