Weigh ins will start Friday the 18th at 9:00am-12:00pm. Please message or email me if this does not work. You must have your Strongman Corporation membership ready.
Events
ALL WEIGHTS ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE!
Masters classes will be combined with open classes but score separate. Masters' weights may change depending on sign-ups and body weight of the class.
Strongman Corporation membership is required for all competitors and can be purchased online at https://strongmancorporation.com/memberships/. Please note that USS and Strongman Corporation are not the same, and you will need a Strongman Corporation membership for this competition.
Nationals bids will be awarded in Open classes based on the number of athletes in each class as follows:
- 1 athlete in a class: the promoter may merge the class with another class; if the athlete competes alone they will earn an invite by completing (i.e. not “zeroing”) at least 4 of the 5 events to the standards originally set forth by the promoter.
- 2-4 athletes in a class: 1st place qualifies for Nationals
- 5-9 athletes in a class: 1st and 2nd place qualify for Nationals
- 10+ athletes in a class: 1st-3rd place qualify for Nationals
Masters Athletes qualify for America's Strongest Master by placing in the top 3 of a Masters class *or* in the top 5 of an Open class.
Max Log Press
- 30 second time limit to press the log.
- 10# jumps for all weight classes
- women, masters, 175, and 200# men on a Titan Log.
- Everyone else on a Rogue log.
- Women will be using 100# 12in log and men will be using 135# 12in log.
- This will be a rising bar format. I won't be tracking your attempts. Athlete is out once a lift is not completed. You can jump in and out as much as you like until you fail an attempt. You are OUT if a lift is not completed in the time limit.
- Each attempt will need a down command from the judge. Elbows must be locked and feet together (not staggered)
- Do NOT drop the weight at the top unless needed for safety
- Grip shirt, chalk, wrist wraps, knee sleeves, elbow sleeves, soft and hard belt allowed.
Deadlift Ladder 2.0
- Athlete will have 60 seconds to complete as many reps on the deadlift ladder as possible.
- Athlete will start with a zercher deadlift. It can be completed straight from the floor or lifted into the lap first. I don't care.
- The second deadlift will be sumo, frog stance, or excessively wide stance. I don't care. Hands must be between the legs.
- The third and final bar will be conventional for reps with whatever time is left. This will be a deadlift bar.
- All reps will require a "down" command from the judge. The conventional for reps will have both "up" and "down" commands. No touch and go.
- No briefs or deadlifts suites allowed.
- Belts, straps, knee sleeves, elbow sleeves, wrist wraps, chalk allowed.
Arm Over Arm With a Twist
- Athletes will have 60 seconds to clip in their own rope, run back, and complete the arm over arm.
- Athletes will be score by 150ft (run down 50ft, run back 50ft, and the sled pull 50ft) or best time possible.
Yoke to Sandbag Press
- Athlete will have 60 seconds to run a yoke 50ft and then complete as many sandbag presses as possible with the time left.
- Athlete will be scored on distance or time. If no sandbag presses are completed the athlete will be scored on how fast they completed the yoke OR on distance.
- Grip jizz, belts, wrist wraps, elbow sleeves, knee sleeves, belts allowed
Stone Over Bar
- Athletes will have 60 seconds to get as many reps as possible over bar with the stone.
- Women's height will be set at 48 inches, and men's at 52 inches
- Equipment allowed: Tacky, grip shirts, tacky towel
