WEIGH INS: NO VIDEO WEIGH INS!!! Athletes must be present at weigh-ins! Day of at 9:00am or night before from 5-6:30pm at ACE Fitness.

Women:
Women novice (WN), Light weight woman (LWW under 140), women’s masters, Middle weight woman (MW 141-180), Heavy weight woman (HW above 181)
Men:
Mens Novice (MN), masters, 175 and below, 175-200, 201-231, 232+
*I can and will add divisions and subdivisions if there is enough interest!!
*First place in each division will qualify for nationals.

Axle clean and press 60s
Athletes will have to clean and press the axle bar for max reps within 60s. Athletes can choose between attempting a heavier weight or a lighter weight. Any successful lifts with the heavier bar will beat any number of reps with lighter bar. If you attempt and fail the heavier weight, you may then attempt the lighter weight as long as it’s within your allowed 60sec. A combo of Ironmind and Rogue axles with be used. Bumper plates on the axle and will be using crash pads. Okay to drop the bar IF YOU DROP IT ON THE PADS!!No additional belt build ups but belt cleans are okay. Feet have to be together and elbows locked out, you will receive a “down” command. Chalk, belt, wraps, grip shirt all okay.Suits, briefs, tacky are not okay.

Barbell deadlift for max reps in 60sec
Athletes will have to deadlift a barbell from standard height for max reps within 60s. Athletes can choose between attempting a heavier weight or a lighter weight. Any successful lifts with the heavier bar will beat any number of reps with lighter bar.If you attempt and fail the heavier weight you may then attempt the lighter weight as long as it’s within your allowed 60sec. Lighter bars will be using a power bar and the heavier bars will be using a deadlift bar. Must wait for the down command. Must control bar down, no letting go of the bar before it hits the ground. Chalk, wraps, sleeves, straps, belt, are okay. Suits, briefs, Tacky, tacky towels not okay.

Power medley (circus db, framers, sandbag to shoulder) 60sec
Athlete will clean and press a dumbbell for two reps then move to the farmers walk and carry it 20’, drop, turn and carry it back to the start for a total of 40’, then move to the sandbag to shoulder for ONE rep. Dumbbell must touch the ground between reps and must wait for the down command from judge. There will be a 2 sec penalty if you slide the farmers over the finish line.Must show control of the sandbag on the shoulder and remove one hand from the bag in order to receive a down command.Bag must rest on the shoulder not halfway down the arm. Chalk, belt, wraps, sleeves are okay. Tacky not okay no straps, nothing on hands (tape) except chalk.

Wrecking ball hold for max time
Athlete will stand on platform. The wrecking ball will be attached to a chain and than to a straight bar attachment (handle will not spin). Handle will be about 20”-22” from the platform. Pick up the weight with a DOUBLE OVERHAND grip and hold for as long as possible. Chalk, sleeve, belts all okay. Nothing else beside chalk is allowed on hands, no straps, no gloves no tape or anything else but chalk

Atlas stone carry and load over bar . (60sec)
Three stone will be set 10’ from the bar. Lightest to heaviest. Carry the stone and load it over the bar run back and grab the next stone. No rolling the stones. Bar height for women and men’s teen is 46” and 50” for men. May not grab the bar at any time.No throwing the stone at the judge!Must keep stone in control. You will get a zero if the judge feels unsafe. Belt, chalk, sleeve, wraps, gloves, grip shirt, tack towels or spray tack and regular tacky all ok.
