2026 North Coast Strongman League (NCSL)

$255

Cuyahoga Falls, OH

Welcome to the 2026 North Coast Strongman League!

presented by Devoted Fitness & Strength

Here's how it works...

Throughout 2026 we're hosting four (4) separate strongman competitions. Each of these competitions will be part of the NCSL.

2/21/26 - 2026 Royal Rumble

5/30/26 - 2026 Third Monkey Throwdown

8/22/26 - 2026 Devoted Strength Classic

12/12/26 - 2026 Yuletide Beatings

Yes, if you so choose, you can forgo the league and sign up for each single competition and treat them as traditional, stand-alone comps. However, if you don't, you'll be missing out in several ways..

What you'll miss if you don't join the NCSL...

1. NCSL crowns overall winners for each weight class at the end of the year.  So league participation gains you access to a higher level of competition.

2. NCSL get's you access to all 4 of our 2026 comps for a big discount compared to signing up for them individually!

3. We're getting jerseys! League members get their own league jersey and number to wear for each comp.

4. Nobody else does shit like this, so you'll be one of the pioneer competitors in the only league of its kind.

5. We're working to get the entire year's worth of events pre-posted and weighted BEFORE the end of 2025. It's a ton of work for us, but you'll know exactly what you'll need to train for in 2026.

6. When you register for the NCSL here, we'll automatically add you to the registration for all 4 league comps for 2026... no need to register for each individual event, cuz we'll take care of it for you.

The Basic Rules

(these are subject to change or evolve)

  • You must join the league prior to the first competition of the year! No joining mid-year.
  • We'll require a total of 15/20 events accumulated throughout the year for your final NCSL composite score. That means 2 things
    • You can choose to skip a single, entire competition. For example, if you miss your weight class, have a vacation, or are competing in someone else's comp that weekend (like nationals).
    • Or you can compete in all 4 comps throughout the year, then pick your 5 lowest scoring events to drop, leaving you with your best score possible. We'll only use 15 out of your 20 events, so you'll have to pick which ones to drop at that point.
    • The choice is yours, but you can only pick one.
    • Zeros cannot be counted toward your composite score, so if you only show up to 3/4 comps in 2026, You can only get a max of 15 events completed. That means if you Zero in one of the 15 events, you'll be DQ'd from the NCSL standings. You can still compete in the stand-alone comps, but not the overall year-end standings at that point. My advice... don't skip a comp if you're someone who's worried about a zero! Harsh, yes, but it sure raises the stakes a bit (insert evil laugh)
  • You are required to stay in the same weight class in which you're registered. No switching weight classes allowed! So be sure to pick one you can stick with... we advise against big weight cuts for the league!
  • You should expect that each individual competition will contain a mix of NCSL and non-NCSL competitors.
    • Non-NCSL can still win the stand-alone comps if that's the way it goes.
    • Your NCSL year-end score will be recalculated without non-NCSL competitors. For example, if there are 10 people in your weight class for a given event, and 5 of them are NSCL, and you get first place... The stand-alone comp score would give you 10pts for that event since there were 10 people. However, once NCSL year-end scores are tallied, we'll remove the 5 non-NCSL people from your division and retally the scores based on the 5 NCSL members... meaning first place is now out of 5 points instead of 10. This will place all NCSL members on an even field and negate non-NSCL at the end of the year.
  • Each competition will be treated as a stand alone event on it's event day. Doesn't matter if the winners are NCSL or not, winners will podium. The NCSL advantage, again, is in the higher level competion throughout the entire year, across all 4 comps.
