Rules:

 Yoke carry and squat

-This event is for points in 90 seconds

-1 point will be given for taking 2 controlled forward steps with the yoke. 1 point will be given for completing the distance. If the distance is not completed the athlete will not receive a score for distance. Then 1 point will be given for every successful rep.

-The athlete will start under the yoke at high squat depth with the middle of the yoke on the line. On the go command, time will start and the athlete will lift and carry the yoke until the middle of the yoke crosses the line. Unlimited drops are allowed. After the middle of the yoke crosses the line. Then the athlete will squat with the yoke as many times as possible until time runs out.

-The yoke height will be specific to each competitor at the bottom of the sternum. Pin height will be taken at the weigh-in.

-After the go command, time will start. The next call the athletes will receive is the drop/down command signaling that the middle of the yoke has past the line. Then the athlete will receive down commands when a squat is locked out. For a squat rep to count the entire yoke has to touch the ground. Up commands will NOT be given. all 4 feet of the yoke need to touch the ground before coming up. if an athlete does not touch all 4 feet they will receive a warning and then they will receive a no rep if they continue to do that.

Stone to shoulder Last Viking Standing (weights subject to change)

-each competitor from the class will line up. They will all attempt one stone (atlas or natural) at a time going from lightest to heaviest.

-each athlete has a 30-second time limit per attempt but if an attempt is lost before lapping the stone the athlete can retry the lift. However, if the athlete has lapped the stone and the stone drops to the ground after the lap position. That is considered a failed attempt.

-time starts when the athlete steps up to the stone. Each athlete has 30 seconds to step up to the stone after the competitor before them makes their attempt.

- If the class reaches the heaviest stone they will then repeat the attempts on that stone in the same fashion as before. For example, the whole class will start on a 100lbs stone. After the whole class attempts that, they will move on to a 150lbs stone. So on and so forth. When an athlete fails a rep they are out and the rest of the class will keep going on.

-if the class gets to a stone that no one can shoulder, the remaining athletes will go back to the previous stone and finish on that stone.

-if the athletes get to the last stone and each athlete does 5 successful lifts, they will move onto a the next heaviest stone available.

-each successful lift will give an athlete 1 point. Tiebreakers will go to whichever athlete went 1st in the tie.
