Event meeting 9:45, all athletes, judges and spotters in attendance.

If a weight class has two or fewer athletes, they will be combined with another adjacent weight class.
Spectator tickets will be available and will include access to the axe, spear and archery range. Food and drinks will be available for purchase.
Custom awards will be given to first place finishers in all classes.

Rules:
Boat arm over arm pull
-This event will be for time
Athletes will pull an Authentic Viking Ship arm over arm with guide rope and foot plate. The athletes feet must stay in contact with the foot plate through the entire attempt. If the full distance is not completed, distance will be measured to the front wheel of the boat trailer.

Brebner Stones carry
-this is a Dinnie stone-type carry event for max distance in 90 seconds
If an athlete completes the track length (50 ft) they will turn around and continue. One foot has to cross the line and touch the ground to be considered past the line. Measurements will be taken from the front of the most forward stone. Stones cannot be thrown or dragged.

Thors Hammer Hold
- Hold for time. We will be using a custom Hammer with adjustable weight block from our own Blacksmiths.
Athletes will hold the custom implement in front of them with two hands with their head, shoulders and butt in contact with the backboard. Athletes shoulder should remain over hips with arms straight. The timer is stopped when the top of the hammer drops below the top of the shoulder.

Press Medley
Athletes will have 60 seconds for this event. The objective is to press all three implements as fast as possible. You may press the implements in any order. Athletes will setup in front of the first implement they wish to press and wait for the judges start command to begin. Event will be scored as points plus time. There will be no split times given in between implements, times will only be given for people who finish all 3 implements. Below are to rules for each implement
Log Press
Successful Lift Criteria
- The log must be pressed overhead to full lockout.
- Arms, legs, and hips must be fully extended, with the log stabilized overhead.
- Eye contact with judge recommended
- Feet must remain stationary and in line until the judge gives the “down” command.
- Log must be brought to the shoulders before dropping
Disallowed Movements
- The log may not rest on the head during the clean or press phase.
- Dropping the log from overhead will result in a no-lift.
Circus Dumbbell
Lift Execution
- The press can be strict, push press, or jerk style.
- Only one hand may be used to press the dumbbell overhead.
- The free hand may assist during the clean phase but cannot touch the dumbbell during the press.
Successful Lift Criteria
- The dumbbell must be pressed overhead to full lockout.
- The lifting arm must be fully extended, with the dumbbell stabilized overhead.
- Legs and hips must be fully extended.
- Eye contact with judge recommended
- Feet must remain stationary and in line until the judge gives the “down” command.
Disallowed Movements
- Using two hands during the press phase will result in a no-lift.
- Dropping the dumbbell from overhead will result in a no-lift, must control the dumbbell down a bit
Stone Press
Successful Lift Criteria
- The stone must be pressed overhead to full lockout.
- Arms, legs, and hips must be fully extended, with the stone stabilized overhead.
- Feet must remain stationary and in line until the judge gives the “down” command.
- Eye contact with judge recommended
Disallowed Movements
- No resting on the head
- Dropping the stone from overhead will result in a no-lift. Give a little control down

Hussafel Carry
This is an event for distance in 90 seconds.
Athletes will be using a Titan Hussafel or natural stone depending on weight class. Athletes will pick up the stone or implement and carry for distance. If the athlete completes the set distance they will circle the post and double back until the stone is dropped. Distance will be measured from the front edge of the stone or implement.
