Event Logistics 

Event will be held at the Pine Ridge High School Football Field Parking Lot. There will be signs directing you to the parking lot. Lifters meeting will be held at 9:30AM and lifting will start at 10AM. Hotel details are pending and will be posted on the Facebook page. 

Weigh-ins and check ins will be held from 8-9AM the morning of the competition. 

Event 1: Max Log  

Wessels Rules, unlimited reps with 40 seconds per trip to the log. Rising Bar format. A 12" log will be used for men's and a 10" log will be used for women's. Grip shirts will be allowed. 

Event 2: Max Deadlift

 Lifters will be allowed 30 seconds per trip to complete one successful rep. Rising Bar format. Athletes can jump in at any weight. Athletes will be judges off their last successful rep. All supportive equipment allowed. No suits.

Event 3: Dinnie Stone Walk 

Athletes will start on one end and carry the stones 30 feet (full implements across). Athletes will be judged on fastest time. If athlete does not complete the carry they will be judged off distance. No straps, No tacky.

Event 4: Yoke Walk

 Athletes will start under the implement to start and carry the yoke 30 feet (full implement across). Competitors will be judged on fastest time. If athlete does not finish the carry they will be judged on distance. 

Event 5: King of Stones

 Athletes will start in a line and lift the first stone for their group and once completed will go to the end of the line to attempt the next highest weight. Athletes will have 30 seconds per stone attempt. The Women will go first and their bar height will be 42". Men will go afterward and their bar height will be 48". Athletes will end once they fail to complete a stone or run out of time on their attempt. Tacky IS Allowed.
