Ohio’s Strongest Man 2022

Each year, Ohio’s Strongest chooses a benefactor who exemplifies the strength, determination, and will we all aim to achieve when we compete, train, and throughout life. This year, our benefactor and warrior is Philip.
In 2018, at the age of 2, Philip was diagnosed with Stage 3 Hepatoblastoma Cancer. Hepatoblastoma Cancer is a rare tumor (an abnormal tissue growth) that originates in cells in the liver. Philip battled and fought for months to get the news he was cancer free! However, unfortunately, in August 2020, Philip was diagnosed with another rare form of cancer. Leukemia. This rare cancer was caused by the treatments to fight the Hepatoblastoma, making it not only rarer, but more difficult to treat. Sadly earlier this year, Philip lost his battle with cancer. However, his spirit, courage, and love remain and continue to inspire us to fight against childhood cancer.
Philip's family needs our help. Together, we can all be PHILIP STRONG. Let's do all we can to help this great family!
