Rules and Details:

1. Max Axle C&P Pretty basic, once your name is called you'll have 30 seconds to initiate your lift. Any and all clean and press variations are acceptable. Down command will be given once the elbows are locked, head through, feet parallel and not moving. No grip aids of any kind, belt, sleeves, wraps are all ok. Grips shirts are fine, so long as they are not promoting any rival federations, as per USS guidelines.

2. Max Wagon Wheel DL We will be using a DL bar with wagon wheel plates, resulting in a pick height of around 13". Once your name is called you'll have 30 seconds to initiate your lift. Down command will be given when shoulders, hips and knees are fully locked with head up. Briefs, suits, belts, wraps, straps are all fine to use. No hooks, tacky, etc.

*Note: Both the C&P and DL events will be your Max weight given 3 attempts using Wessels' rule. (first failed attempt and you're finished)

3. Rolling Thunder Hold for Max Time We are using the Genuine, World Famous Iron Mind Rolling Thunder handles for this event. Once your name is called you'll have 30 seconds to initiate your lift. Athlete will position themselves with one foot on each side of weight stack. Time begins when weight leaves the floor and will end when weight touches the floor again. Handle must not intentionally touch any part of the body on the way up. Your score will be the total time of both hands, highest total wins. Only aid allowed is chalk on the hands. No coating the implement, no liquid chalk.

4. Bags over High Bar 3 throwing style sandbags will be placed approximately 12' in front of the standard. Athlete will begin with one hand touching the standard. Upon starting the athlete will run up to lightest bag and toss all 3 over high bar in ascending order. Fastest time wins, time will end as final bag crosses over the bar. Bar height will be about 15' for Men and between 12' and 15' for Women. Belt, sleeves, wraps, chalk on hands are all ok to use.

5. Sandbag Carry and Load Medley 3 Sandbags will be placed 25-30" away from a Yoke. Upon starting the athlete will carry and load each of the sandbags in ascending order. Time will end when final bag crosses bar and hands are off. Fastest time wins. Bar height is 48" for Women and 52" for Men. Chalk, belt, sleeves, wraps are all ok to use. NO TACKY ON BAGS!
