The event is going to be outside of the Seminole Strength gym in the parking lot.  Parking and admission to the event are both free.

Feel free to bring food, there will probably be food vendors selling food also.  Pop-up tents, chairs, etc are allowed and encouraged but make sure you get there early if you want to set them up as spaces will fill.

There are no required covid protocols in place, other than if you feel sick or show any symptoms of covid, please do not come.  You are welcome to take all pre-cautions you feel are necessary, although I discourage athletes from wearing face coverings for their own safety.  

Weigh in's will be on Friday morning at Seminole Strength and Conditioning, LLC.

Hotel Information:

Tallahassee has a wide variety of hotels, the closest ones will be right off of any of the 3 main exits off of I-10.  Seminole Strength is right off of exit 296 which has 1 or 2 hotels, but exit 199 and 203 have many more.  If you need more information on them, please feel free to contact us.

Event Descriptions:

Keg Carry / Sandbag carry and load:  A keg will be picked up and carried across the parking lot approximately 40 yards.  Athlete must them run/walk back to starting position and pick up a sandbag and carry it to the location keg was placed, but put sandbag on a metal sled.  Sled will then be drug up hill (very slight) by walking/running backwards dragging sled with sandbag on it until 40 yard line is passed or time runs out, in which distance will be measured.

Uphill truck pull:  Truck (probably a jeep and yukon depending on class) will be pulled with an ironmind harness up a slight hill approximately 30 yards.  There will be a rope setup for pulling and leverage.  Tacky not allowed, suits not allowed, compression shorts, chalk, and belts are allowed.

Deadlift: You will have 60 seconds to lock out as many reps as you can. Belt, straps, wrist wraps and elbow sleeves are permitted. Shin high socks are required. No DL suits. No resting bar on the legs, but hitching/ramping is permitted. Down command only.

Circus dumbbell / Axle clean and press / Log clean and press medley:  Athlete will have 1 minute to do 1 circus dumbbell clean and press (clean with 2 arms, press must be only 1 and locked out, down command only), 1 clean and press with axle, can clean as desired, continental, etc and lockout overhead, down command only, and then as many reps as possible in time allotted with log clean and press, down command only.  

Stone: There will be 4 stones in ascending weight loaded to 4 different platforms in descending heights.  Time limit is 1 minute, if all 4 stones are loaded, placing will be determined by time finished.  If less than 4 are loaded, placing will be determined by amount of stones loaded and time in which they were. Belt and knee sleeves are permitted. No DL suits. Shoes required. Arm covers arm permitted and encouraged. Tacky is permitted in a limited capacity. You will have a designated area to apply and remove tacky ONLY. Tacky application will be done REASONABLY.  Tacky must be removed outside and not inside the gym bathrooms.  There will be designated areas for the oil as well as a hose to assist in removal of tacky.
