2026 Nationals Qualifier

EVENT 1

ARM OVER ARM TRUCK PULL

Athlete will start sitting in the tire with their hands on the rope.  Athlete will be given a start command by the judge.  Athlete will have 60 seconds to pull the truck arm over arm 50 feet.  Fastest time wins.  Distance will be given for anyone not completing the 50 feet within the allotted time.  Equipment allowed: wrist wraps, belt, elbow sleeves, knee sleeves. Equipment Not allowed: anything tacky, gloves

EVENT 2

KEG PRESS FOR REPS

Athlete will start with hands on the keg.  Athlete will be given a start command from the judge.  Athlete will have 60 seconds to clean and press each rep with the keg.  Athlete must have elbows locked out and wait for the down command from the judge.  No resting on your head or tree topping. Most reps in 60 seconds wins. Equipment allowed: wrist wraps, belt, elbow sleeves, knee sleeve. Equipment not allowed: anything tacky.

EVENT 3

SANDBAG TOSS

Athlete will start under the uprights with their hand touching the side of the uprights.  Bags will placed 5ft out from the uprights.  Athlete will receive a start command from the judge. Athlete will have 60 seconds to toss 3 sandbags over the uprights. Athlete will start with the lightest bag first.  If the sandbag does not go over the uprights, athlete can not move on to the next bag and must retrieve the bag and try again. Fastest time wins.  Credit will be given for the number bags the athlete got over in 60 seconds if they did finish all 3. 12ft for women and 15ft for men. Equipment allowed: wrist wraps, belts, elbow sleeves, knee sleeves. Equipment not allowed: Anything tacky

EVENT 4

FARMER CARRY

Athlete will start with their hands on the implement.  Athlete will be given a start command from the judge. Athlete will have 60 seconds to complete the 100ft course.  There will be a turn at 50ft.  Athlete will drop the farmers and return 50ft to the start position. Fastest time wins.  Distance will be given if the athlete does not finish the course in 60 seconds.  Only drop allowed is at the 50ft turn. Equipment allowed: wrist wraps, belts, elbow sleeves, knee sleeves. Equipment not allowed: anything tacky, straps

EVENT 5

13in WAGON WHEEL DEADLIFT FOR REPS

Athlete will begin with their hands on the bar. Athlete will be given a start command from the judge. Athlete will have 60 seconds to do as many reps as possible.  Athlete must lock out and be given a down command from the judge. Athlete must control the weight down. No dropping! Power bar will be used. Most reps in 60 seconds wins. Equipment allowed: belts, knee sleeves, straps, lifting briefs. Equipment not allowed: anything tacky, suits

Weigh ins Friday September 12, 2025 9:30am-11:30am and 5pm-7pm at McMillan Training Systems located at 1148 Elizabeth Ave. Lancaster, PA. 17601and Saturday September 13, 2025 at Victory Brewing Company from 8am-9am. 

Rules meeting to immediately follow weigh ins and lifting to start at 9:30am.

Food will be available for purchase at the event.  Please bring canopies to sit under and chairs to sit in.
