Parking: There is ample parking on site. Please leave a few spots open in front of Monster Mini Golf. DO NOT park at Dunkin Donuts. Overflow parking can go to the white office building 100ft west of the gym (745 Hope Rd), there is a side walk connecting the lots.

Friday 11/18/22 10:00am - 12:00pm and 4:30pm-6:30pm DO NOT come outside of those hours, thank you.

Saturday 11/19/22 8:45am - 9:15am

Athlete Meeting:  9:30am (mandatory for all athletes)

Contest Start Time 10:00am 

Spectator Fee: $15 at the door. Free for kids under 12 (cash/card/venmo excepted) *NO PETS 

If you are bringing small children, it is up to you to make sure they are well behaved. They are NOT to be running around the gym or on ANY pieces of equipment under any circumstances. NO EXCEPTIONS.

Events: (weights are subject to change. weights/implements will be tested at upcoming clinics)

Circus DB For Reps: This is a timed event for reps. Athlete will have 60sec to press the implement as many times as possible. Must clean and press each rep. Athlete can press the implement however they would like (strict press, push press, jerk). Athlete can clean with both hands, but may press with only 1 hand. Athlete must wait for down command, which will come after press is fully locked out with both feet under hips and stable. NO tree topping or dumping from overhead, must lower DB in a controlled fashion onto the drop pad. Belts, sleeves, wraps allowed. NO grip shorts, tacky, or OSG/SC shirts.

Deadlift Ladder: This is a timed event. Time will end after final down command is given. Order of implements will be stiff bar, axle bar, deadlift bar with wagon wheels. Athlete must wait for down command before moving on to next implement. NO dropping from the hip, each lift must be lowered to the ground. Athlete may begin strapped in to the first implement. Belts, sleeves, wraps, suits, straps allowed. No OSG/SC shirts. No sumo stance or bouncing. Hitching is allowed but frowned upon ;)

Farmer's Carry: This event is for time. It is a 50ft carry down with a turn and 50ft back. 1 drop is allowed. Athlete may begin with hands on the implement. Time will be stopped once the front of the handles cross the line. Belts, sleeves, and wraps are allowed. NO straps or suits. Type of farmer's handles TBD

Sled Pull: This event is for time. Athlete will be seated in a tire for leverage. This will be a hand over hand sled drag. Athlete may begin seated or standing. Time will stop when the sled crosses the designated line. Belts, sleeves, and wraps are allowed. No gloves, suits, or OSC/SC shirts. 

Hercules Hold: No time limit. One attempt for longest time. Athletes are to stand with arms extended, gripping the handles/weights on each side. Athlete must hold the handles/weights straight out from the torso, a slight bend at the elbow is allowed. If the bend increases or is too great, the judge is allowed to stop the time. Time will stop when the athlete can no longer hold the implement OR if the judge calls it. Belt, chalk, sleeves, and wraps are allowed. No tacky, gloves, or straps allowed.
