AXLE WAGON WHEEL SQUAT TO BOX - REPS

This will be done similarly to how it has been done in World's Strongest Man several times.  Instead of the giant drums, the axle will have massive wagon wheels on it and be squatted to the top of Rogue wood blocks for reps.

Competitors will be using either an Arsenal Athletics axle bar or Titan, depending on weight class distribution the day of the event.

The height of the boxes will be based on the athletes height, and how far they must travel to get the crease of their hip to dip below their knee to attain a rep.  This will be measured at check-in.

  1. Competitors may start under the bar.
  2. On the command of 'go' from the judge, the competitor will unrack the weight, walk it backwards over the boxes, and begin squatting once settled.
  3. Rep is considered complete whenever judge gives the command 'DOWN' for a new rep.
  4. A rep is considered complete when the competitor is standing straight, hips forward, knees locked and looking at judge.
  5. Touch and go is allowed, but do not abuse the boxes, if you slam the weights into the boxes it will be considered a NO REP.

Equipment Allowed:

Suits, Grip Shirt, Briefs, Wraps, Chalk, knee sleeves, elbow sleeves, wrist wraps, figure 8's, straps, 1 soft belt and 1 hard belt.  No double sleeves, no wraps over sleeves, no adhesive of any kind.

  1. Women's Height - 11 feet, Men's 14 feet.
  2. Competitors will start with hands on sides of implement.  On command of GO, competitor will run from the implement to the kegs and begin throwing them over the bar.

  4. Competitors have 60 seconds to complete this event, clock stops when the last keg hits the ground.

BAR FOR WOMEN IS SET AT ~42"

BAR FOR MEN IS SET AT ~46"

NO TACKY

This is the tiebreaker event should there be tie.  The tiebreaker will be based on how many loads are accomplished.

  1. Stone weights are approximate.  They will be close to these weights.
  2. Athlete will begin standing across from each other, with the athlete in the lowest position going first to load the stone over the yoke.
  3. On GO command, athlete will have 60 seconds to load the stone over the yoke.
