- ***ALL EVENT WEIGHTS ARE EXPECTED WEIGHTS BUT MAY VARY SLIGHTLY DUE TO FINAL IMPLEMENT WEIGHT***
- EVENTS RULES ARE SUBECT TO UPDATING.
- APPROVED COMPETITION SHIRT MUST BE WORN ON EACH EVENT OR A GRIP SHIRT CAN BE WORN ON AXLE & SANDBAG.
- WHEN YOU APPROACH FOR THE EVENT YOU WILL STATE YOUR NAME AND WEIGHT CLASS TO THE SCRIBE AND THEN COMPETE.
- All athletes will receive a 10% coupon from Cerberus Strength.
- Classes must have 3 athletes in order to qualify for prize money....so bring as many friends to compete as you can!
- Chalk and Smelling Salts will be available for athletes
- Rules meeting will begin promptly at 8:30am and the Axle Clean & Press to being right after.
- YOU MUST HAVE A VALID 2026 US STRONGMAN MEMBERSHIP TO COMPETE.

- Weigh-ins will be held at Rhino Fitness Friday evening and Saturday Morning.
- Friday Night 6pm - 8pm
- Saturday Morning 7am- 8:30am

Max Axle Bar Clean & Press:
- Wessels Rule applies How Wessels Rule Works
- Three Attempts – Competitors get three attempts to establish their max lift.
- No Reattempts at Failed Weights – If an athlete fails a weight, they cannot attempt that same weight again.
- If you fail your first attempt at the minimum weight, you do not get your 2nd or 3rd attempt.
- Must Increase or Stop – After a successful lift, the athlete must increase the weight for their next attempt or stop.
- Minimum 10lb jumps
- Call your next weight after your successful lift.
- Must get Down command from the judge.
- If you need extra time between lifts let a judge know.
- You will declare your opening weight at weigh-ins. Starting weight is 55lbs
- Novice, Teen's, Women's and Master's divisions if you need a lower starting weight please let us know at weigh-ins.
NO SPIKING! Spiking will result in a no lift. You must maintain control of the bar.
- Athlete may start with hands on the Axle bar. Athletes must clean and then press (viper, strict, push, jerk) and wait for down signal before lowering the implement under control to the starting point (Crash Pads ~6”).
- 60 second time limit per Athlete
- Any lock out issues must be presented to the judge ahead of time – if you miss a rep because you did not present any issue, then you just lose a rep and the time.
- Good lockout consists of implement overhead, arms locked out, head through and looking forward (not up), and feet “parallel” and no stagger. Judge has final say in what is a good rep. 60 seconds per attempt.

Dinnie Stone Carry:
- The athlete will start with rings in hand, and on the judge's command will have 60-sec pick and run the "stones" 17 FT 1.5 IN the end of the course.
- Distance will be measured if the athlete can't complete the course.

- Crossing the line:
- If side by side the front of BOTH handles must PASS this finish line.
- If front to back the front of the LARGE handle must PASS the finish line.

Sandbag Steeplechase:
- Athletes race head-to-head through a short course, carrying and loading sandbags over a bar or onto a platform. Fastest full completion wins; partial progress is scored if time expires.
- Athlete begins behind start line, empty-handed. Timer starts on judge’s command: “Athlete ready… GO!”
- Distance will be 30ft with a Yoke 15ft from the start and a platform to load onto at the end.
- Women Yoke Height ~46 inches
- Men Yoke Height ~50 inch
- There will be a 60 second time limit.
- Fastest time to complete all bags wins.
- If time expires:
- Highest number of completed loads wins.
- Tie-breaker: distance the final bag was carried.
- If time expires:
- The run is considered complete when:
- All sandbags have been loaded successfully, AND
- Athlete’s hands are removed and the bag is stable.
Gear Allowed: Wrist Wraps, Knee Sleeves, Elbow Sleeves, Chalk, One Soft Belt, One Hard Belt (if using a lever belt please place lever to the side or back to avoid damaging the sandbags), Grip Shirt.

Axle Bar Deadlift for Reps:
- This will be a head to head event so bring you A game.
- This event is being sponsored by Cerberus Strength and Cerberus Strength Gift Cards will be presented to the winner of each class.
- You will have 60 seconds to complete as many reps as you can
- This event is STRAPLESS AND DOUBLE OVERHAND ONLY. This is to mimic nationals to give athletes a feel for how they may perform.
- BAR WEIGHT NOTICE
- Bar 1 weighs 55lbs
- Bar 2 weighs 25lbs (2 -15lb bumper plates will be added to match Bar 1's weight)

- If there is a tie in a weight class, the this event will be used to settle the tie.
- The athlete will start with rings in hand, and on the judge's command will lift the implements and hold them for max time.
