Fingal Fingers-

Male competitors: Competitors will have 90 seconds to flip a 10’ long 12” diameter fingal finger for as many reps as possible. Most reps wins. Finger must hit the crash pad to count as a rep, if the finger is in the motion of falling as time expires, the rep will count. Competitor cannot rest the finger on the competitors head. Gear not allowed: Tacky, tacky towel, or anything sticky

Female competitors: Competitors will have 90 seconds to flip a tire as many times as possible, most reps wins. Gear not allowed: Tacky, tacky towel, or anything sticky.

Keg toss-

Competitors will have 60 seconds to throw 5, ¼ barrel kegs over a bar. Fastest time wins. The bar will be at different heights for different classes. Competitor must start with their hand on the bag toss bar to begin. Kegs can be thrown in any order but the competitor cannot reposition the kegs closer to the bar at any point in the event unless in the process of throwing. If the keg has made it over the bar, and is in the process of falling as time expires, the rep will count. Split times will be counted as the keg goes over the bar. Gear not allowed: Tacky, tacky towel, or anything sticky.

Natural stone carry max distance-

No time limit, no drops allowed, competitors will carry a natural stone around a 100’ circumference, “Husafell style” square pen. The pen has the same exact dimensions as the actual Hussafell pen in Iceland. Max distance wins. Competitors cannot shoulder the stone or rest it on a belt. HUSAFELL CHALLENGE: Any competitor in any weight class can elect to carry the 409lb natural stone (the weight of the actual Husafell stone) instead of their designated class stone weight. If the competitor chooses to carry the 409lb stone, their distance will be multiplied by two. Gear not allowed: Tacky, tacky towel, or anything sticky.

Hercules Hold-

Competitors will hold onto the Hercules Hold for as long as they can. Longest time wins. Handle will be a knurled, steel, non-fixed handle. Gear not allowed: Straps/hooks of any kind, tacky, tacky towel, or anything sticky.

Sisyphus Stone-

Male competitors will push a 40” diameter, sandbag loaded, steel stone 25’ up a grass hill. Female competitors will push a 40" diameter sandbag loaded, steel stone 50' on flat ground. If the athlete does not finish, side spotters with chocks, will chock the stone in place and measure distance. Fastest time, or furthest distance wins if no competitor finishes. RECOMMENDED GEAR: CLEATS, HIKING BOOTS, OR ANY FOOTWEAR THAT GETS REALLY GOOD TRACTION, THIS EVENT IS GOING TO BE ON A GRASS HILL. Gear not allowed: Tacky, tacky towel, or anything sticky.

Weigh-ins-

Weigh-ins will be August 22nd at Northend Fitness in Oak Harbor. Athletes can choose to weigh-in at any of the following times:

10:00-12:00 AM August 22nd

4:00-5:00 PM August 22nd

08:00 AM August 23rd

Make sure you bring your active USS membership to weigh-ins
