Bell is 0-4 against Southlake Carroll since November of 2015 but things could change on Friday. The Blue Raiders will welcome the Dragons at 7:00 p.m. Bell has given up an average of 26.3 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

On Thursday, Bell lost to Keller Central on the road by a 38-23 margin.

Meanwhile, Southlake Carroll strolled into their game on Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They claimed a resounding 57-7 victory over Northwest. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 43-7.

Southlake Carroll had a senior duo take command as Davis Penn rushed for 97 yards and three TDs on only nine carries and Angelo Renda threw for 321 yards and a pair of touchdowns while completing 78.9% of his passes. Renda's passing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 305 passing yards. Brock Boyd was Renda's top target, picking up 104 receiving yards and one score.

Southlake Carroll was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 222 rushing yards. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their rushing yard total in three consecutive games.

Southlake Carroll's defense made their presence known, laying out Mark Hartman four times. Northwest's QB won't forget Crawford Taylor anytime soon given he sacked him twice. Another thorn in the Texans' side was Robbie Ladd, who made 11 total tackles (3.0 for loss).

Bell's loss dropped their record down to 5-2. As for Southlake Carroll, their win bumped their record up to 8-0.

Bell was taken down by Southlake Carroll 73-7 in their previous meeting back in October of 2024. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Renda, who threw for 273 yards and a pair of TDs while picking up 11.9 yards per attempt, and also rushed for 90 yards and one touchdown on only six carries.
