2025 USS NATIONAL QUALIFIER

1st place in Novice and top 3 in Open classes qualify for Nationals
 

Athletes will have the chance to leave this event with the title of "state record holder". This will be a brand new record that has never been done before for the state of PA.

*$100 Cash Prize for the longest Farmers Hold for 1 man and 1 woman across all classes!

Weigh ins will be held 08/16/24 8am-10am, 4pm-6pm and also on comp day from 8am-9am

Rules meeting at 9:30am

Comp starts at 10am

WAGON WHEEL DEADLIFT- :60 limit for max reps, ties possible. You will be allowed to strap in before the clock starts. Athletes will get an up and down command. No bouncing the weight and no dropping the last rep, must control the weight to the ground. There are no warnings you will be no repped.

Allowed- straps, figure 8, knee sleeves, wrist wraps, chalk, belt

Not allowed- tacky, straps with hooks, suits, gloves

PRESS MEDLEY- Athletes will have :60 to press the cdb, axle and log once. You are allowed to viper. You can not snatch the db, you must clean to the shoulder before pressing. A 2 hand clean is allowed, must clearly have 1 hand off before pressing. Score will be fastest time. You must control the weight to the floor. NO TREE TOPPING! Listen to your judge, if you DO NOT get a down command you will get a no rep and have to press the same implement again.

Not allowed- tacky, gloves

CARRY MEDLEY- Athletes will have :60 to run a yoke 40', run back and pick up a sandbag to carry and load over the yoke, run back and grab a 2nd sandbag to carry and load over the yoke. Sandbags will be 30' away from the yoke. You can carry front or shoulder. You will also load over whatever height you do the yoke run with. Score will be fastest time. YOKE SLIDE PENALTY WILL BE :02. UNLIMITED DROPS. THROWING THE SANDBAG WILL ALSO BE A :02 PENALTY. YOU CAN RE LAP AS MANY TIMES AS YOU NEED TO.

FINGAL FINGER- :60 AMRAP max reps, ties possible. HANDS MUST BE OFF THE IMPLEMENT FOR THE LAST REP TO COUNT. IF THE FINGAL FINGER IS ON ITS WAY DOWN AFTER THE :60 BUT YOUR HANDS ARE OFF, THE REP WILL COUNT.

Allowed- wrist wraps, elbow sleeves, knee sleeves, belt, chalk, gloves, grip shirt (no osg or sc)

Not allowed- tacky

PA STATE RECORD FARMERS HOLD- This will be a head to head style. Longest time wins. Hook grip is allowed. TIME WILL START ONCE THE ATHLETE IS FULLY LOCKED OUT.

Allowed- wrist wraps, elbow sleeves, knee sleeves, belt, chalk, hook grip

Not allowed- straps of any kind, gloves, tacky, suits
