Dinnie-Stone Carry

Fastest Time Wins. :60 time limit. The athlete will carry Dinnie Stones 20 feet, turn around, and come back 20 feet for 40 feet total. The athlete will have a chance to position the Dinnie Stones however they want before time starts, but both the stones and the athlete must start behind the starting line. For the first 20 feet, each stone only needs to touch the line. Time will stop once both Dinnie-Stones cross over the starting line. The turn makes it so that the athlete will carry the heavy stone once in each hand, unless they’re creative somehow. So have each hand ready to go!

Light Dinnie-Stone Pick Height – 19”

Heavy Dinnie-Stone Pick Height – 22”

Allowed – Chalk, Belt, Sleeves, Wraps

Not Allowed – Tacky, Gloves, carrying one Dinnie-Stone at a time, Straps

Last Man Standing Sandbag Clean and Press

Heaviest Weight Wins. :30 time limit or 2 attempts in the :30. EVERY increase in weight will be done by each athlete until one athlete remains. A line will be formed. As people drop out, the line will become shorter. Meaning you will have less time between attempts. If the score keeper calls your name and you are not standing at the platform, you will finish with the number performed. Feet must be brought in line and arms extended to receive down command. Belt latches/buckle must be behind the athlete. We don't need to be puncturing a bunch of sandbags with people's belt buckles.

Women – 50# start, 25# jumps

Men – 125# start, 25# jumps

Allowed – Chalk, Belt, Sleeves, Wraps

Not Allowed – Tacky, Grip Shirts, Slamming the sandbags, grabbing sandbag velcro

Trump Axle Deadlift

Most reps at the thicker axle wins. :90 Time Limit. Athletes will have a choice between two different axles. One axle will be heavier than the other axle. The heavier axle will be significantly thicker. How you train determines which axle you will target. A single rep on the thicker axle will beat any number of reps on the thinner axle - i.e., 1 rep at 4” axle will beat 10 reps at 2” axle. You can start with the 2” axle and then move up to the 4” axle, but once you move up, YOU CANNOT MOVE BACK DOWN. The time it takes for you to switch will be part of your overall time - the earlier you switch axles, the more time you'll get to make an attempt. You can also decide to start on the thicker axle. If you get reps on the thinner AND thicker axle, only the reps on the 4” axle will determine your final score.

Allowed – Chalk, Belt, Sleeves, Wraps, Straps, Hitching, Dead-Stop Reps only

Not Allowed – Tacky, Suits, TnG Reps, Bouncing Reps

Odd Object Carry

Longest distance wins. No time limit. Athlete will carry the odd object max distance in front of body (no shouldering) in a 40’ ring. Distance will be measured after first drop. Odd Object will be revealed the day of competition. The suspense is killing me!

Allowed – Chalk, Belt, Sleeves, Wraps

Not Allowed – Grip Shirts, Tacky, Suits, Gloves

Log C&P AMRAP

Most Reps wins. Athlete will start standing over but with hands off the Log. Each rep must be cleaned from the crash pads provided. If at any point the Log roles away from the crash pads, the athlete must bring the Log back to the crash pads before continuing to the next rep. A “Down” command will be given at lockout and control. Athletes feet must be together for rep to count (split-jerk positions must bring feet together). The athlete must follow the Log back to the ground after a successful or failed attempt. :90 time limit.

Women – 10" Log

Men – 12” Log

Allowed – Belt, Wraps, Sleeves, Chalk, Split-Jerk, Push-Jerk, Grip Shirts

Not Allowed – Tacky, Suits, Belt Build Up, Tree Topping, Straps

Tie Breaker will be used if necessary. Likely a H2H grip.
