With the entry fee you get a contest shirt and professional photography of the contest.

Event 1: Ströng Crüe Head-to-Head Log Clean and Press

60 seconds to clean and press as many reps as possible. Athlete will have option to start on a 250-pound log or a 300-pound log. One rep on the 300 trumps all reps on the 250. If 300 is missed, the athlete has the option to move down to the 250, using remaining time. Hands on implement to start. Down commands will be given. Do not drop log from overhead, doing so may result in a zero at judge’s discretion. Let your judge know immediately before your attempt if you have any soft lockout issues due to lack of mobility in joints.

Scoring: for reps and trump rule, one successful press needed for any points. Examples: 1 rep on 300 beats 5 reps on 250. 1 rep on 300 and 1 rep on 250 beats 1 rep on 300. 2 reps on 300 beats 1 rep on 300 and 5 reps on 250

Allowed: wrist wraps, sleeves, belts, grip shirts, and chalk

Not allowed: gloves, straps, tacky, or suits

Event 2: Cannabama Odd Object Carry and Load into Docking Bay

90 seconds to load 4 objects onto 46” high platform. Objects will be 20’ away from the loading bay. Athlete may start with hands on lightest object. A go command will be given, and athlete will load lightest to heaviest objects. Time stops when all objects are loaded successfully and hands are off. Objects will be a fire hydrant, a tire, a sandbag, and a keg ranging in weight from ~145 – 325 pounds. Split times will be taken for each object loaded successfully in under 90 seconds. The keg must be standing upright after it is loaded, and the other implements must not be falling or hanging off the platform for time to stop. No distances will be measured. If an athlete fails to load the first object, then he zeros. No rolling objects. Unlimited drops, but if an object is dropped and it rolls, the athlete must return with the object to the place the judge specifies to proceed.

Scoring: split times, if athlete does not load the first object successfully zero points will be awarded

Allowed: gloves, wrist wraps, sleeves, belts, and chalk

Not allowed: tacky, suits, grip shirts, or straps

Event 3: Last Man Standing 18in Wagon-Wheel Deadlift

30 seconds to make a successful attempt. Names will be called, and each athlete will start with the weight selected at sign in. Athletes must attempt every weight jump thereafter until out. No successful attempts will result in a zero. The deadlift will begin at 455 pounds and there will be 40 and 50 pound jumps: 455, 495, 545, 585, 635, 675, 725.... Down command will be given. Thumbs must be able to make contact to the bar throughout the lift. Athlete will declare starting weight at sign in.

Scoring: heaviest weight lifted, one successful deadlift needed for any points

Allowed: wrist wraps, sleeves, belts, chalk, straps, and baby powder

Not allowed: gloves, tacky, suits, grip shirts, or oily substances

Event 4: Head to Head Frame Race Up a Ramp

60 seconds to carry a 580 pound frame up a ramp into a loading bay. Total distance is ~36 at a ~30-degree incline. Entire frame must cross the finish line for time to stop. If athlete fails to make it past the finish line in 60 seconds, a distance will be recorded. Athlete can grab handles before go command is given. Unlimited drops. If the athlete fails to move the frame from the starting line in the 60 seconds, he will zero.

Scoring: time or distance, no points if whole implement does not cross starting line

Allowed: wrist wraps, sleeves, belts, and chalk

Not allowed: gloves, tacky, suits, grip shirts, or straps

Event 5: Greer’s Sandbag “Throw Off” Over Bar

20 seconds to throw 45-pound bag over 15’ bar. Opponent will have 20 seconds to throw back. Timer starts every time bag lands. Turn ends for the athlete that fails to throw over the bar in the 20 second time limit, but continues for the successful athlete who may proceed scoring reps. When one final athlete remains, that athlete will have 40 seconds to make each successful throw. Failing to make the first successful throw in 20 seconds, will result in a zero.
