Gym Space Equity is SO excited to announce the PRIDE event we are hosting in collaboration with Prism Moves PDX!

Prism is a local nonprofit organization that works to fill the gaps in the fitness industry, “making space for women, BIPOC individuals, LGBTQ+ individuals, larger bodied humans and those that want to move their bodies for joy instead of weight loss- to feel welcomed and included in their fitness journeys.”

So, please Join us for LOUD + CUTE - A Pride Strongman Mini-Meet on Sunday, June 29th from 12-3 PM at Prism Moves in Portland, Oregon.

This event is open to ALL experience levels (whether you are brand-new to Strongman, or have some experience), and we will be offering a Strongman Clinic + Q&A led by Pro Strongwomen- Angelica Jardine & Gabi Dixson & beforehand (at 9:30 AM) - so you can feel prepared going into it! (Suggested donation: $25, see registration)

You will be participating in 3 main events:

* Yoke

* Wagon Wheel Deadlift

* Sandbag Over Bar

Participants will be split into 3 categories: Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced.

There will be NO weight classes or separation of gender for this meet, with the goal of making it as inclusive as possible.

Every participant is required to donate some amount - enlist a friend, family member, or teammate to match for you! (Suggested donation: 5 cents/total LBS lifted). This serves as your entry fee (you must commit to either gathering donations, or donating minimum $25 yourself). All proceeds go to support Gym Space Equity’s nonprofit Equity Fund program: a low-barrier, subsidized membership program - that supports our BIPOC community in accessing fitness resources!
