1st place – Arnold 2025 and Nationals 2024

2nd place – Nationals 2024

3rd place – Nationals 2024

4th place – Nationals 2024 with 9 or more competitors per class

5th place – Nationals 2024 with 12 or more competitors per class. 

COMPETITION SHIRTS

One free T-shirt per athlete. Additional shirts are $$ (TBD).

SPECTATORS

The spectator fee:

$20 per person, kids under the age of 12 are free.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

There are no specific qualifications that must be made to participate in this event. Athletes must simply be an active member of Strongman Corporation to compete in this event. If you do not have an active membership, you will NOT be able to compete.

Prizes will be awarded to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in each division.

Event 1 - Viking Press

Athletes will have 60 seconds to complete as many presses as possible. Athletes will lift the Viking press to a full overhead lockout and must show control. lockout of the elbow, hips, and knees. The judge will give a “Down” command when a good rep has been achieved. The lifter must lower the implement to the shoulders before beginning the next rep, reactive reps are allowed. The implement may be set down at any point. 

Specific Details:

Athletes will be facing away from the implement (towards the audience). This event will be performed on a platform.

Neutral grip. Handles are 20" apart.

*We will take your heights at weigh ins.

Allowed: wrist straps, belt, sleeves

Event 2 - Silver Dollar Deadlift

In an auction style event, athletes will have 3 attempts, Wessels rules, to find their max weight. You miss, you are out. You pick your weight attempts. You have 30 seconds from the start to try to complete the lift of your choice. Weight listed is minimum starting weight. 

Specific Details:

Power bar with Silver Dollar Blocks. 18" height. This event will be on a deadlift platform.

*we had to switch from deadlift to power bar

Women - 10lb jumps

Men - 20lb jumps

Allowed: straps, belt

Not Allowed: suits, compression shorts, gloves

Event 3 - Sandbag Toss

Athletes will have 60 seconds to throw a series of 4 sandbags over a crossbar for the fastest time.

Specific Details:

Bags will be placed 10ft from the yoke. Athletes will be on the dirt for this event.

Women - 13ft

Men - 15ft

Event 4 - Duck Walk - Frame Carry

Athletes will have 60 seconds to Duck Walk 25ft, run back and Frame carry 25ft to the finish line. The tip of the frame must cross the finish line to complete the event. The athlete can only drop once during this event, a total of 1 drop. 

Example: If you drop the implement during the duck walk you cannot drop during the frame carry.

Specific Details:

Duck - 25" tall, 2" handles

Frame - 17" height from ground to handles, handles are 26" apart

Allowed: belt, chalk

Not Allowed: gloves

Event 5 - Fingal Fingers

Athlete will start with hands OFF the implement. On the judges GO command, the athlete will clean the Fingal finger from the floor (a crash pad will be under the implement) and walk it hand over hand until it tips and falls to the other side. The athlete will repeat the process for a total of 3 flips, fastest time wins. Must wear event shirt, Gloves are ok.

Specific Details:

Men Fingal Finger - 12' Long, 8" diameter

Women Fingal Finger - 10' Long, 6" diameter

*the weight is loaded at the top
