Time: 10am-Noon & 4:00pm-7:00pm

Start time: Rules briefing will start at 10am.
Event 1: Max Axle Press
60-second limit. From Blocks - No Clean. Wessel’s Rules - Athletes will have 3 attempts to reach a max weight. Weight will increase by 10lbs. each round. Weight will not decrease. Last successful lift will be recorded. Athlete may press, push-press, push jerk or split jerk the implement overhead to a locked-out position. Athlete must wait for the “DOWN” signal to receive a good lift. A “Good Lift” is defined as having the implement locked out, under control overhead with arms straight, head through, legs and feet parallel and stationary. Heaviest lift wins.

Starting Bar Weight:
Women - 75lbs.
Men - 165lbs.
Equipment Allowed: Chalk, Knee sleeves, Knee Wraps, Elbow sleeves, Wrist wraps, Elbow wraps, Belts, Built up belt (one soft belt & one hard belt), Grip shirts
Equipment NOT Allowed: Tacky or Towel Tacky, Supportive suits, straps of any kind
Event 2: Yoke Sled Pull
60 second time limit. One attempt for the best time or distance. Athlete will be strapped into a harness and can use a rope for assistance. Front of yoke will start on the line. This will be very similar to a truck pull set up
Time stops when the front of yoke cross the finish line or when expired. Distance will be measured if not completed.
Distance: TBD
Equipment Allowed: Chalk, Knee sleeves, Knee Wraps, Elbow sleeves, Wrist wraps, Elbow wraps, Belts, Built up belt (one soft belt & one hard belt),
Equipment NOT Allowed: Tacky or Towel Tacky, Supportive suits, straps of any kind
Event 3: Max Axle Bar Deadlift
60-second limit per attempt. Wessel’s Rules - Athletes will have 3 attempts to reach a max weight. Weight will increase by 10lbs. each round. Weight will not decrease. Athletes may choose when to jump in. Last successful lift will be recorded. Heaviest lift wins. Conventional stance only - Hands must be outside of legs.
Good Lift: Athlete must lift the barbell to a standing position with head up, shoulders back, legs and feet in line. Once the "DOWN" signal is given for the lift, the athlete must return the bar to the floor under control. Dropping the bar will result in a “No lift.”
Bar: 2" Axle
Equipment Allowed: Chalk, Knee sleeves, Knee Wraps, Elbow sleeves, Wrist wraps, Elbow wraps, Belts, Built up belt (one soft belt & one hard belt), Straps or figure 8 straps.
Equipment NOT Allowed: Tacky or Towel Tacky, Supportive suits, no lifting hooks
Event 4: Husafell Carry
60 second time limit. Athlete will start in front of the implement. On the command GO. the athlete will pick up the implement *must be carried in front of athlete, not shouldered or held above head* and began to carry the implement to the opposite sideline, Athlete must just cross the sideline before the Athlete can begin going back in the opposite direction. Same must be completed if Athlete reaches the opposite sideline again. Athlete keeps going until time runs out or drops the implement and distance will be measured.
Distance: 75ft
