Weigh ins

All weigh-ins will be at Ironclad Performance, 87 Executive Drive Suite 2 Aurora IL 60504

Day before, Friday July 12th: 8:00-9:30am, 4:00-7:00pm

Day of, Saturday  July 13th: 8:00-9:00am

Rules

Equipment allowed - Chalk, 2 belts max (1 soft & 1 hard), elbow and knee sleeves, wrist wraps, grip shirts (no Strongman Corp or OSG logos), warm pants (neoprene), Straps only for Deadlift, tacky only for Stones

Equipment not allowed - Deadlift Suits, Straps for Frame Carry or Hercules Hold

General Rules

• No slamming or throwing of implements
• No outbursts on platforms, profanity or emotional outbursts may result in disqualification
• Family and friends welcome!
• Novice, Masters, Hero, Teen and Transgender Divisions are listed as Single Classes currently. If we have enough athletes to fill both a LW and HW class (5 athletes each) within the divisions we will split them into those classes.

Viking Press

• Max reps in 60 seconds
• We’ll allow a “Double Knee Bend”
• Lock out knees, hips, shoulders, and elbows
• Down command will be given when judge determines the lift is good
• Weight on weight matrix is what the weight in hand will be

Whiskey Barrel Deadlift

• Max reps/weight in 60 seconds
• Starting weight will be the empty implement and will increase with each repetition
• After each successful rep the weight will increase by 50lbs for men and 30lbs for women
• Judge will give both an "Up" command and "Down" command. When the weight is loaded the "up" command will be given and when the athlete is standing upright with their knees, hips and shoulders locked out the "down" command will be given

Incline Frame Carry

• Fastest time or furthest distance wins
• Start with hands on handles
• Full Frame must cross line
• All athletes will start from the same line
• Distance and weights will change over testing
• No sliding implement, if sliding is determined judge will give 3 second time penalty

Hercules Hold

• Max Time
• Judge will given the start command and the Timer begins, you just get to hold on as long as you can
• Athlete is not allowed to squat down or lean back too far, the judge may give them a warning or terminate the event at their discretion

Atlas Stone Load to Barrels

• Athletes have 60 second time limit to load all stones onto their respective platforms
• Stones will be lined in front of platforms from lightest to heaviest, stay tuned for updates on how this will be set up
• Fastest time or most stones wins
• Equipment Allowed; Belt (1 soft & 1 hard belt, max), grip shirts, tacky
