What is EFInStrong:

Welcome to the 3rd EFInStrong Strongman/woman competition. We held 2 last year, one in April and one in August and between the two dates we chose April to continue this on an annual basis. Avoid the Heat!!  EFInStrong was created originally to help guide beginners and introduce them to the competition environment. By the second event we began to gain interest from higher level competitors, so we added on an Open division. With so much growth in just 4 months we have decided to try and add even more divisions. The focus is still the competitors and helping grow the sport so if you enjoy lifting heavy objects, learning from more experienced competitors and helping others achieve their best this is the comp for you!

Awards/Competitor packages: 

We are currently engaging several potential sponsors to help with awards and competitor packages I will update as we go. We are also going to base trophies and cash prizes based off number of entries. The more that sign up the bigger the prizes. All competitors will get a shirt with their entry package. 

Shirts:

Shirts will be on available to preorder and a portion of the shirts sales will go to improving the prizes and competition for the competitors. 

Location: 

We will be attempting to host this at our facility in the open field out front. This is subject to change, but it will be within the area of Alabaster, AL

Events: (weights and events are subject to change) 

The event order has not been finalized. 

1. Loading Race
   • We will have several heavy items ranging in weight, the heavier objects will be closer to the platform (aka my truck)
   • You will have a set time to carry the items to and load onto the platform.
2. Axel Bar Wagon Wheel Deadlift for reps
   • You will be given 60 seconds to pull as many reps as possible.
3. Yoke Press
   • We will set the yoke up to allow you to get set underneath standing up.
   • You will have 30 secs to attempt to press the bar/yoke overhead.
   • For the smaller divisions we will start with the axel bar set on two platforms to replicate the lift. Once we reach the weight of the yoke, we will remove the set up.
   • It will be best of 3 attempts.
4. 50 ft Hand over hand pull
   • We are in the process of testing out the pull weight and instruments. It will range from a sled with added weight to a vehicle
   • You will be seated in a tire. You will be allowed to get set and place tension on the rope.
5. Sandbag over the bar head-to-head
   • We will couple the competitors up and you will have 30 secs to return the bag to your opponent. It will be last man standing.
   • In the event of odd number competitors, we will do a staggered run.
   • Bar Height will be roughly 44 inches for women and 48 inches for men.

Equipment:

Like all of our events you are free to use any supportive gear you desire excluding tacky or adhesives of any kind.

No Refunds unless divisions are dissolved, and competitors chooses not to move into a new division.
