It's time to find out who is the Strongest in the Lone Star State! You're not gonna want to miss out on this incredible event. We have got a big line-up of events set for this year. As part of Iron Week 2025, Texas Strongest Man is going to be one of a kind. Big implements and big prizes. The Better Bodies Classic will take place inside dallas market hall, a 100,000sqft arena which will feature events going on as part of the expo including Bodybuilding, Strongman, Powerlifting, Arm Wrestling, Jiu-Jitsu, Midget Wrestling, and much much more! Plus, stuff for the whole family to do, events, vendor shopping, sponsor opportunities. So pack up the family and head to The Big D for a unforgettable day with us!

Weigh-Ins Will be the day before on April 4th from 7am till Noon. Then from 5pm till 8pm. at Destination Dallas Gym

Rules meeting will be at 8am with warm ups following the meeting.
ALL ATHLETES WILL BE REQUIRED TO BE CHECKED-IN AND ATTEND RULES MEETING!
IF YOU ARE NOT WEIGHED/CHECKED IN BY 8AM. YOU WILL NOT COMPETE! NO EXCEPTIONS!

This will be a Strongman Corp Sanctioned event. You will need a Strongman Corp membership to compete.

Event 1: Rogue Monster Dumbbell Press
Upon the judges go command, athletes will have 60 seconds to clean and press the dumbbell overhead for reps. Athletes may start with hands on the implement. The dumbbell will be picked up from the floor. Cleaned and pressed overhead, then returned to the floor each rep. Judges will give a down command once the dumbbell controlled and overhead in a full locked position. Knees, hips and elbows will have to locked out to receive the rep. If you lower the dumbbell for any reason before the down command, you will not receive the rep. Athletes may start with two hands on the implement to clean and position on the shoulder. Once in position to press the athletes opposite hand will need to be off the dumbbell and away from the athletes body. After the athlete has pressed the dumbbell, they must control the drop to the crash pad. Dumbbell must touch the ground before the next rep. Athletes may switch hands between reps.
Equipment allowed: Grip Shirt, Wrist wraps, elbow sleeves, knee sleeves, hard belt, soft belt, chalk.
All other equipment not listed is prohibited.
Event 2: Car Deadlift
Upon the judges go command, athletes will have 60 seconds to deadlift the vehicle as many times as they can. Athletes may start with hands on or strapped in. Athletes will deadlift into a locked out position. Knees and hips locked out and standing upright. Once the athlete receives the down command the athlete will return the vehicle to the floor and repeat until time expires. NO TOUCH AND GO! THE VEHICLE WILL BE REQUIRED TO REST BEFORE THE NEXT REP BEGINS. Any lift that does not receive a down command, will be given a no rep. You are allowed to drop the handles to the ground each time as the vehicle will be on mats.
Equipment allowed: Any kind of deadlift straps, Wrist wraps, elbow sleeves, knee sleeves, hard belt, soft belt, chalk.
All other equipment not listed is prohibited.
Event 3: Husafell and Frame Carry
Upon the judges go command, athletes will have 90 seconds to complete both courses. First, the athlete will pick up a husafell sandbag and carry it around the course then back to the starting line. The course will be marked by cones in a square. The cones will be approx 30ft apart. Once the athlete has completed one full lap, they will drop the husafell from where they began, then move to the frame carry. The athlete will then pick up the frame and carry it 50ft, set the frame down, turn, pick it back up and return 50ft to the starting line where they began. Both implements will need to be fully across their designated finish lines for time to stop. The frame will need to be fully across the halfway mark before turning around and heading back to the finish line. THROWING THE BAG ACROSS THE LINE WILL NOT BE ALLOWED! YOU MUST CROSS THE LINE WITH THE BAG! However dropping the bag once across the line is acceptable. SLIDING THE FRAME TO THE HALFWAY MARK OR ACROSS THE FINISH LINE IS ALSO NOT ALLOWED! Please control yourself when near the finish line for everyone's safety. If you do not finish the course, distance will be taken for which implement you are on. Unlimited drops allowed.
We will be using Cerberus Husafell Sandbags and Heavy Gauge Steel frames.
Equipment allowed: Grip Shirt, Wrist wraps, elbow sleeves, knee sleeves, hard belt, soft belt, chalk.
All other equipment not listed is prohibited.
Event 4: Atlas Stones
Upon the judges go command, athletes will have 60 seconds till complete the stone series. Starting with the lightest stone to the heaviest. The athletes will need to control the stone to the platform and once it is on the platform and into the designated hole made for the stone. Spotters will be in position but it is up to the athlete to make sure it is secure before moving to the next stone. If a stone falls off due to unsecurement, the athlete will need to redo that stone during the 60 seconds. Times and number of stones will be recorded for scoring. Stone tacky will be allowed. You will put your tacky on prior to the event and remove it afterwards. We will have designated tacky stations. IF YOU ARE NOT AT THE STONE PODIUM, YOU MUST STAY INSIDE THE DESIGNATED TACKY STATION IF YOU HAVE TACKY ON. IF YOU ARE FOUND OUTSIDE OF THE TACKY STATION OR STONE PLATFORM AT ANY TIME, YOU WILL BE DISQUALIFIED FROM THE COMPETITION. END OF STORY. PLEASE BE VERY RESPECTFUL OF THE VENUE AS WE ARE THEIR GUEST AND DO NOT WANT TO DAMAGE THE VENUE OR CAUSE ANY PROBLEMS! Stone platforms for men will start at 56" and drop 4" per stone. Stone platform for women will start at 54" and drop 4" per stone.
Equipment allowed: Grip Shirts, Stone tacky, wrist gauntlets, wrist wraps, elbow sleeves, knee sleeves, hard belt, soft belt, chalk.
All other equipment not listed is prohibited.
Event 5: Hercules Hold
Athletes will start in a locked out position. One hand on each handle. Once the staff has released tension, then time will begin. Athletes will stand and hold the implement as long as possible. Time will stop when the athlete lets go of the handles.
Equipment allowed: Wrist wraps, elbow sleeves, knee sleeves, hard belt, soft belt, chalk.
All other equipment not listed is prohibited.
Grip shirts are allowed.
