Friday, July 22nd from 2 p.m.-5 p.m. at the Missouri Athletic Center located at 2900 Forum BLVD Columbia, Missouri 65203
Saturday, July 23rd from 9 am-11 am at the Executive center where the contest is being held located at 2200 Interstate 70 Dr SW

Please have proof of United States Strongman Membership at weigh-ins. proof can be provided via the iron podium page. Athlete bags with contest shirts will be given at weigh-ins.
- 13 Inch Train Wheel Deadlift rules
Athlete will have 60 seconds to complete as many reps as possible. Athlete will start with hands off of the bar and grab/strap in after the lift command is given. Athlete will recieve a up and a down command for each rep. If the Athlete prematurely jumps the up or down command the rep will not be rewarded to the Athlete. If Athlete is using straps the hand has to be wrapped around the bar. No Fingertip deadlifts allowed. Shins must be covered for the event for hygiene purposes.
Equipment allowed for deadlift: straps (figure 8, regular, axle, oly), belt, soft belt, suit, briefs, chalk, baby powder.
Equipment not allowed for deadlift: tacky, stickem, spray tack, or any adhesive of any kind. This type of equipment will not be allowed for the duration of the contest.
- Axle Clean & Press
Athlete will have 60 seconds to complete as many reps as possible. Each rep will be cleaned then pressed. You may not rest the axle on your head to complete a rep. Athlete will make eye contact with the judge while showing control. Feet parallel. Arms fully locked out. Athlete will then recieve a down command. Athlete must then control the axle back down to the ground. If the bar is dropped from overhead to the ground the rep will not be given to the Athlete. (Obviously your safety comes first so if the axle is dropped due to a safety reason we will handle that case by case) respect our equipment.
**belt cleans are allowed
**strict press, push press, push jerks are allowed
Equipment allowed for Axle clean & press: soft belt, hard belt, one pair of elbow sleeves, one pair of wrist wraps, chalk, grip shirt, grip pants.
Equipment not allowed for Axle clean & press: build up belts, lifting straps of any kind, tacky, stickem, spray tack, or any adhesive of any kind.
- Farmers Carry
Athlete will have 60 seconds to complete a designated distance of 45ft down/back/down/back. Total of 180 ft. Unlimited drops by Athlete. If you drop it and the farmers rolls away/falls over it is the athletes responsibility to reset the farmers handle to continue the event.
**Farmers will be a set down and turn around.**
Equipment allowed: soft belt, hard belt, chalk, knee sleeves, elbow sleeves, wrist wraps.
Equipment not allowed: straps of any kind, baby powder, tacky, stickem, spray tack, or any adhesive of any kind.
- Sandbag Over Bar
Athlete will have 60 seconds to complete as many reps as possible. Athlete will start with hands on the yoke. Athlete will then lift the sandbag over the yoke. Each rep will be counted as the sandbag hits the ground. The athlete will then move to the other side of the yoke and load the sandbag over again. The Athlete can not use the yoke as leverage to assist the sandbag over. Height of yoke will be 50 inches for women and 56 inches for men.
Equipment allowed for sandbag over bar: Gloves, chalk, elbow sleeves, knee sleeves, grip shirt, grip pants, chalk, soft belts, hard belts.
Equipment not allowed for sandbag over bar: tacky, stickem, spray tack, or any adhesive of any kind. This type of equipment will not be allowed for the duration of the contest.
- Yoke Walk
Athlete will have 60 seconds to yoke walk 60ft drop the yoke and walk it 60ft back to the start line. 2 additional drops allowed outside of the turn around drop. If the Athlete drops the yoke and slides it there will be a 2 second slide penalty added to their time. Athlete will get the down command once the front of the yoke passes the 60ft mark to turn around. Time will stop once the complete yoke has passed the start line. In the instance an athlete can not finish the entire distance, distance will be recorded from that spot
