Entry Deadline: Entries will be taken until the day before the contest but you must enter by 2/13/21 to be guaranteed a contest T shirt.
Rules Meeting: 930am (ALL ATHLETES MUST BE IN ATTENDANCE TO COMPETE)
Weigh-in: Friday 2/26/20 from 8am-10am and 5-7pm at Big Tex Gym
Saturday 2/27/20 from 730am-830am at Big Tex Gym

EVENT 1- Keg Press Medley
*Athlete can start with hands ON implement
*60 second time limit from judge's "go" command to get as many reps as possible.
*Wrist wraps, elbow/knee sleeves, chalk, grip shirts, belt with buckle or lever to back ALLOWED.
*Straps, suits, tacky/tacky towels, elbow/knee wraps NOT ALLOWED.
* There will be TWO kegs. A heavier keg and a lighter keg. You can press either keg within the minute. The heavier keg is worth 1 point and the lighter keg 1/2 point. You can start on the heavier keg and go to the lighter when fatigued or just do one keg during the whole minute.
*elbows/knees must be extended and feet must be parallel to get the "down" call from judge. Must wait for down call for rep to be counted.
*strict press, push press, push jerk, power jerk, viper press, split jerk ALLOWED.
EVENT 2- Axle deadlift for reps
*Athlete may start with hands on the axle (strapped in).
*60 second time limit from the Judge's "Go" command to deadlift the axle for max reps in the minute.
*Athletes will be given a down AND up command...no "touch and go".
*straps, belt, knee/elbow sleeves, chalk, wrist wraps, hitching ALLOWED
*Tacky/tacky towel, knee/elbow wraps, suits NOT ALLOWED
EVENT 3- Sandbag/Keg Carry and Load Medley
(46" bar for Novice and Masters Women, 48" bar for Novice Men, Masters Men and Open Women, 50" bar for Open Men)
*Athlete has 60 seconds to pick, carry and load a sandbag followed by a keg. The implements will start next to the bar they will be loaded over. Athletes may start on either implement.
*Time will start on judge's "go" command. Once given the "go" command athletes will pick and carry the first implement 50' down AND back to the bar to load the implement. As soon as they successfully load the first implement they will carry the second implement 50' down AND back to load the second implement over the bar.
*Athletes may not use the yoke/bar for leverage (i.e. no standing on yoke or grabbing cross bar to push with chest)
*Belt to the back, chalk, knee/elbow sleeves, wrist wraps allowed.
*Implements can be front carried or shouldered.
*Suits, tacky/tacky towel, knee/elbow wraps, straps NOT ALLOWED
EVENT 4- Max H Stone Hold
*Athlete will pick an H Stone from the ground and front hold for max time.
*Time will begin as soon as the H stone breaks the ground.
*Belt to the back, wrist wraps, elbow/knee sleeves, chalk ALLOWED.
*Suits, elbow/knee wraps, straps, tacky/tacky towel NOT ALLOWED.
*Athletes may start with hands ON the H Stone. Once given the "go" command athletes will have 30 seconds to pick the stone. If the athlete does not pick the stone into hold position during their 30 second window they will ZERO the event.
*Athlete cannot excessively arch their back. This will be at the Judge's discretion. Athlete will be given ONE warning before time is stopped.
EVENT 5- Stone Over Bar Series
*Athletes will have 60 seconds to complete the stone series.
*Athletes will start with wrists on the cross bar. When given the "go" command athletes will load the lighter stone TWICE to the higher bar. After successfully completing two reps to the higher bar with the lighter stone. athletes will then rep out the heavier stone to the lower bar for the remainder of the minute.
*The highest number of reps on the heavier stone wins.
*Tacky/tacky towel, wrist wraps, elbow/knee sleeves, chalk, belt ALLOWED.
*Suits, straps, elbow/knee wraps NOT ALLOWED.
*Athletes may not use the yoke/bar for leverage (i.e. no standing on yoke or grabbing cross bar to push with chest). They will be give a "no rep" for any reps completed in this fashion.
