Saturday May 18th, 2024 

Rules meeting at 8:30am. Competition will start 9am.

Early Bird Pricing $70. Registration After April 20th $85 Registration Closes May 11th.

All athletes are required to attend the rules meeting to compete. No Exceptions.

Weigh-ins will be held Friday May 17th, 2024 from 3pm till 7pm at Metroflex The Castle in Fort Worth & Saturday May 18th, 2024 from 7am till 8:30am at the event venue.

The competition will be held indoors in the Round Up Inn at the Will Rogers Memorial Center. 

This is Strongman Corp sanctioned event. You will need a Strongman Corp membership to compete. Click the link below to purchase your membership if you need one.

THIS IS A REGIONAL/NATIONAL QUALIFIER 

WANT AND INVITE TO THE BIG SHOW?? THIS IS HOW YOU GET IN!!

If there are 2-5 athletes in a class:

1st Place - Nationals and Regionals 

2nd Place - Regionals 

3rd Place - Regionals

If there are 6+ athletes in a class:

1st Place - Nationals and Regionals 

2nd Place - Nationals and Regionals 

3rd Place - Regionals 

4th Place - Regionals

The venue is just outside of Downtown Fort Worth with plenty of hotel accommodations in the area. Please be sure to arrive ahead of time to warm up and rules meeting. 

All athlete entries BEFORE APRIL 20th are guaranteed a T-Shirt. Please be sure to submit your size. We will ordering extra shirts in multiple sizes. Any registration after April 20th will be on a first come, first served basis with the extra shirts. We will have extras to purchase as well for spectators. If you are wanting to purchase any extra shirts for yourself family, friends, etc... Please contact me ahead of time and I will be more than happy to submit an order for you.

 

  • Event 1: "Aint Nothin But A Peanut" Circus Dumbbell Clean and Press Away

Athletes will have 60 seconds upon the judges go command to clean and press the dumbell over head for as many reps as possible. Athletes will only be required to clean the dumbell once. Both hands may be used to clean. After the clean and in position, athletes will release the secondary arm and press away. Judges will give a down command once the athlete has the dumbell overhead with elbow, hips, and knees locked and standing in an upright position. After the down command, athletes may return the dumbell to the shoulder for the next rep with both hands. Athletes must make sure the secondary hand is off and away from the body before the lift, or it will result in a NO REP. Unlimited drops. However, TREE TOPPING THE DUMBELL will result in a ZERO for the event regardless of how many reps the athlete has previously completed. 

Equipment allowed: Wrist wraps, elbow sleeves, knee sleeves, belt, chalk

All other equipment not listed is prohibited.

  • Event 2: "Yeah Buddy!" Yoke and Frame Carry

Athletes will have 90 seconds upon the judges go command to carry each implement down and back 30ft for fastest time. You will carry each implement for a total of 60ft. Athletes will pick the yoke up first and carry it down to the halfway line then drop, turn around, pick up and bring the yoke back to the finish line. After the front of the yoke have crossed the line, the athlete will pick up the frame and carry it down to the halfway line then drop, turn around, pick up and bring the frame back to the finish line. Athletes will only be allowed ONE DROP PER IMPLEMENT outside of the the halfway mark and the finish line. Only the front of the implement will be required to cross the halfway/finish line to be successful. 

Equipment allowed: Wrist wraps, elbow sleeves, knee sleeves, belt, chalk

All other equipment not listed is prohibited. 

  • Event 3: "Light Weight Baby!" Max Mammoth Bar Deadlift

Athletes will have 30 Seconds upon the judges go command to deadlift the bar into a fully locked out position. Locked out position will include hips and knees locked out and a judge down command is given. Each athlete will be given 3 attempts to find their max. If you miss an attempt you are out of the event and your previous lift will be your score. Athletes MAY NOT drop the bar from the locked out position. Even if the lift is successful, dropping the bar will result in a ZERO. Mixed grip is allowed, sumo stance is not. Conventional lifts only. Athletes may start with hands on the bar. 20LB jump for women. 40LB jump for men.

Starting weights. 200 for women.

330 for men.

Equipment allowed: Wrist wraps, elbow sleeves, knees sleeves, belt, chalk, any for of deadlift strap.

All other equipment not listed is prohibited. (Including deadlift suits and shorts)

  • Event 4: "Everyone Wanna Be A Strongman" Arm Over Arm Pull -                                                                                                                 

Athletes will have 60 seconds upon the judges go command to pull the sled across the finish line. Finish line will be 30ft from the front of the sled. Athletes will be seated on the floor behind sandbags and will start with hands on rope. Only the front of the implement will need to cross the finish line for time to stop. If time expires before the sled crosses the finish line, the distance will be taken as a score.

Equipment allowed: Wrist wraps, elbow sleeves, knee sleeves, belt, chalk, gloves. 

All other equipment not listed is prohibited.   

 

  • Event 5: "Solid Ass Pounds" Scepter Hold

Athletes will be given a go command from the judges. Upon the go command, the athlete will hold the implement out in front of them as long as they can. ONE warning will be issued to the athlete when judges determine the implement is too low. The athlete must correct the error immediately. Judges will make the final call on when the implement has fallen below the allowed area in front of the athlete. At that time the lift will end. Score will be based on time held and the longest hold wins. Slightly bent elbows will be allowed. Shoulders and body must stand up in a fully upright position. There will be no leaning backward to provide leverage. A warning will be issued aside from the low implement warning to correct posture. A second warning to correct posture, will result in the end of the lift.

All other equipment not listed is prohibited.
