Welcome to the 3rd annual Sinister Games Strongman Show. This year's event will be in Herriman, UT alongside the Summit Games CrossFit competition at the Zion's Bank Real Soccer Academy. 

PENDULUM SQUAT

Competitors will be positioned in the custom Bishop Barbell "extra long" pendulum squat machine. On the judge's "go" will perform a squat. With each rep, another set of plates will be loaded on the pendulum squat. The first squat will be around 150 lbs for women-increasing by around 50 lbs per rep, and 250 lbs and increasing around 90 lbs per rep for men. Competitors must wait for the squat command from the judge for each rep and will squat until failure. The highest number of reps will win this event. 

Competitors are allowed to wear knee sleeves or knee wraps and a belt. 

CAR WALK

Competitors will perform a car walk for 50 feet. The implement will be a gutted out car with a yoke-style crossbar that will sit on the competitor's shoulders. Novice and 160 lb women will use a regular yoke. The fastest car walk will win this event. 

Competitors are allowed to wear knee sleeves, belts, and grip shirts.

OVERHEAD HOLD

Competitors will lift and hold the implement overhead in a locked out position for as long as possible. Time starts as soon as the implement is in overhead and in a locked out position. It must stay above the competitor's head for the duration of the time. The implement is TBD. 

Wrist wraps, belts, and elbow sleeves are allowed. 

CARRY/DRAG MEDLEY

Competitors will drag an anchor chain 30'. They will then carry the "Bishop Cross" implement from Sinister Games year 1 20 feet and load it onto a 20" stand. The competitor to get their chain across the finish line and carry implement onto the stand the fastest wins this event.

Wrist wraps, knee sleeves, grip shirts, and belts are allowed. Chalk is allowed- tacky is not allowed.

HYDRA BAR DEADLIFT

Competitors will have 3 attempts to establish a max deadlift on the Bishop Hydra bar (10' long deadlift bar). Once a competitor has failed a lift, the event is over for them. This will be a rising bar style event. Standard height deadlift. The heaviest deadlift in each division wins this event. Lifting straps and belts are allowed. The heaviest overall male and female deadlifts will win a free Bishop Hydra 10' deadlift bar.
