- Athletes will have 60 seconds to clean and press the log and receive a down command.
- If the athlete does not wait for a down command, they will not receive credit for the lift.

- Deadlift suits are allowed
- Figure 8 straps are allowed, but fingers must be in contact with the axle.
- Again, nothing sticky for grip enhancement. Just wear straps.
3. Saxon Bar Hold
*TESTING FOR WEIGHTS IS IN PROGRESS. POSTED WEIGHTS ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE UNTIL OCTOBER 14TH*
- This will be a static hold for max time.
- Each athlete will be given an opportunity to "test" their implement at the competition weight prior to beginning their scored hold for time. This is due to the novelty of this event and our understanding that most people have never even seen a Saxon bar before.
- Female classes will hold the 2" side of a smaller Saxon bar, and Male classes will hold the 3" side of the standard size Saxon bar.
- Scored time will begin as soon as the bar leaves the ground, and the attempt will be over once the bar is returned to the ground.
- Bar must be held out of contact with the legs at lockout with any stance or hand width that the athlete chooses. Each athlete will be allowed 1 warning if their judge perceives that they are resting the bar on their legs. Following that first warning, if the judge perceives that the athlete is resting the bar against their legs a second time, the attempt will be ended. If a judge ends an athlete's attempt due to this disregard of the rules, a 5 second deduction will be taken from that athlete's time at the point that their judge ended their attempt.
4. Yoke Walk
*TESTING FOR WEIGHTS IS IN PROGRESS. POSTED WEIGHTS ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE UNTIL OCTOBER 14TH*
- Athletes will have a 60 second time limit to complete.
- Down 40', back 40', down 40' for a total of 120'. Yes, this event includes 2 "drop and picks."
- The athlete must pick the yoke from the start on judge’s signal, carry for 40' so the front crosses the line. Drop. Turn around and repick to carry for 40' until the front of the yoke crosses the line. Drop. Turn around and repick to carry the final 40'.
- Front of the implement must cross the line for both turns and the finish line.
- Fastest time wins.
- Distances will be measured if the course isn't completed in 60 seconds.
- Unlimited drops.
- No intentional sliding - 2 second penalty will be added.
- Equipment allowed:
- Grip shirts, chalk, sleeves, belts, and briefs
- Equipment not allowed:
- Anything sticky
5. Sandbag Medley
- Athletes will have 90 seconds to complete a sandbag overhead press, sandbag to shoulder, and a sandbag over bar for reps.
- Objects must run in this order.
- Athletes MUST show control of the sandbag at lockout for the press before they will be given a down signal.
- Athletes MUST show control of the sandbag on one shoulder with the off hand released during the sandbag to shoulder before they will be given a down signal.
- Only the sandbag load is for reps and the event will be scored for reps with no tiebreaker for times.
- Load height will be 44" for female classes and 48" for male classes.
- The bag may not be reset back to the athlete after a load. The athlete is responsible for either pulling the bag back to them to load again on the same side or moving to the other side of the yoke to load back over the bar. Load it however you like, but no one else is allowed to touch the bag once you begin.
- Equipment allowed:
- Grip shirts, chalk, sleeves, belts, and briefs
- Equipment not allowed:
