Weigh-ins will be available on Friday, October 18th. The gym opens at 6am. Weigh-ins will be allowed from 6a-11a. Please be patient in that the clients working out come first and you may have to wait a few minutes while clients working out are situated. Weigh-ins will be offered in the afternoon from 3pm-5pm. Weigh-ins will also be offered Saturday morning from 7:00am-8:30am. When you weigh-in, please also obtain your yoke and zercher carry heights.
Opening ceremonies will be held at 9am which will also include review of rules for Event 1. Competition will begin shortly thereafter.

Event 1: Deadlift Max with Wessel's Rule
- Wessel's rule - 3 total attempts allowed. If you fail an attempt, you are allowed no further attempts.
- Weights for Women will begin with 150 lbs and increase by 10 lbs. Once all women have completed their Deadlift attempts, increases for the men will be 20 lbs. While women are working through the Deadlift, men are welcome to step in at any time and take an attempt.
- Texas Deadlift Bar will be used.
- There will be 60 seconds allotted for each attempt. You may re-attempt a missed lift within the 60-second window.
- The judge will give a down command once the athlete stands fully upright with knees locked, hips through and shoulders back.
- A no rep will be given if the athlete begins to descend prior to receiving the down command.
- Allowed: Belt, straps, deadlift suits, chalk, knee sleeves, soft or hard belts.
- Not allowed: Sumo, tacky, or liquid chalk.
Event 2: Press Medley - Axle Press, then Log Press, then Barbell Press for reps.
- 60 second time limit.
- When time starts, athlete will clean and press the Axle Bar. Upon receipt of down command, athlete will proceed to the Log.
- Athlete will then clean and press the Log. Upon receipt of down command, athlete will proceed to barbell.
- With whatever time is left, Athlete will perform as many Shoulder to Overhead reps as possible. Athlete does not have to clean before each rep; they can press away.
- With either the Axle Bar Press, the Log Press, or the Barbell Press, if athlete misses the press, they do not have to drop bar to floor and fully restart. Athlete can reset in the front rack position.
- For the Barbell Press, the bar must pass below the athlete's chin before pressing back up.
- With any press, must fully lockout and await the down command from the judge before lowering bar.
- If Athlete has mobility restrictions, such as arms that do not fully lockout when extended overhead, they must be demonstrated to judge prior to beginning event.
- Allowed: Belts, wraps, sleeves, and United States Strongman approved grip shirts.
- Not allowed: Tacky and/or other sticky substances, liquid chalk.
Event 3: Yoke Zercher Carry
Athlete has 60 seconds to Zercher carry their yoke down 50 feet and back 50 feet. Drops will be allowed.
Allowed: Belts, wraps, sleeves, and United States Strongman approved grip shirts.
Not allowed: Tacky and/or other sticky substances, liquid chalk.
Event 4: Yoke Carry into Farmer's Carry - When time starts, athlete has 60 seconds to carry yoke 50'. Once back legs of yoke have crossed the line, competitor will drop yoke then transition to picking up and carrying the farmer's carry handles 50' back to start line. Time will end when athlete's feet have crossed the line.
Allowed: belts, wrist wraps, and United States Strongman approved grip shirts.
Not allowed: Tacky and/or other sticky substances, liquid chalk.
Event 5: Truck Push - approximately 50'.
