Event 1. - Viking press for reps

Athletes will have 60 seconds to get as many reps as possible.

Strict press, Push press, Push Jerk, Spilt Jerk are all allowed.

Regardless of pressing style athlete must lockout every rep and wait for a down command from their judge.

Belts, sleeves, wraps, chalk are allowed.

The direction athletes will face while pressing will be announced at a later date.

Event 2. - Sandbag Carry/Arm over Arm pull

Athletes will have 90 seconds to carry the first sandbag 30 ft across the line and drop it, then run back and carry the second sandbag 30ft and drop it. To finish the event, run back and arm over arm pull the seed box 30ft back across the line.

Sandbags will be two different weights(to be determined)

For the Arm over Arm pull, athletes will be seated in a big tire.

Chalk, belts, sleeves, wraps are all allowed. No gloves or sticky substances will be allowed…..this includes tacky.

Event 3. - Fingal Fingers

Athletes will have 60 seconds get as many reps as possible. We will be using one implement per lane. So athletes will flip the finger one direction, then run the other side and flip it the other direction.

Belts, sleeves, wraps, grip shirts, and chalk are all allowed. And I shouldn’t have to say this….but no tacky.

Event 4. - Car deadlift

Athletes will have 60 seconds to pull as a many reps as possible. This be a standard type pull using side handles.

Belts, sleeves, wraps, chalk, and straps are all allowed.

* we will NOT be allowing suits this year*

Event 5. - Stone over Bar

We’re going back to the basics on this one. Athletes will start with their hands on the bar, and load their respective stone over the bar as many times as possible in 60 seconds.

Men’s bar will be 52in

Women’s bar will be 48in

And you guessed it……tacky is ALLOWED!!!!!!!! We do not care how much you use, or if you put it on your face. Every athlete will be able to use as much or as little as their heart desires.

Belts, sleeves, wraps, grip shirts, and chalk are all allowed as well.

Weigh-ins will be at the venue:

7/26 10am-Noon and 2pm-6pm

7/27 8am-9am
