Are you ready to put your strength to the test against the best? Well come join the show on September 26th, 2020 at Niks Performance for the first Tournament of Titans! This is a USS sanctioned show where the top 3 finishers in each class will earn their invite to Nationals in 2021. (First place finishers in the limited Novice class will also earn an invite.)

Events for the day include:  

Yoke - 60 foot Yoke walk down with a 60 second time limit and 2 second slide penalty.  Multiple drops are ok if necessary.  Time will begin on the command of the judge and will end when the entire implement crosses the finish line.

Log Clean & Press - Competitor will have 60 seconds to complete as many reps as possible.  The log must be cleaned and pressed each rep.  A successful lift will consist of arms locked and head through.  Competitor must wait for a down call from the judge .  If the implement is drop from overhead, the result will be a zero for the event.

Deadlift Ladder - Three barbells will be set up for this ladder event.  Each barbell must have a successful lift before moving to the next weight.  A successful lift is considered to be knees locked and shoulders back.  Once a successful lift is made, the judge will give the competitor a down command.  If the bar is dropped before the down command, the competitor will have to redo the lift.  The third barbell will be from wagon wheels.  90 second time limit for the event.  Chalk and straps allowed.  No deadlift suits.  Deadlifts must be conventional style.  No sissy sumo.

Arm Over Arm Truck Pull - Competitor will have 60 seconds to pull the vehicle 60 feet.  A rope will be connected to the vehicle.  Competitor be in a seated position with feet planted against a solid board.  Time will beginning on a start command and stop when the front tires touch the finish line.  Gloves are allowed.

Keg Carry & Load Over Bar - There will be 3 kegs set up for this carry and load event.  The lightest keg will be 20 feet away, middle keg will be 15 feet away, and the heaviest keg will be 10 feet away from the yoke.  Time will start when the judge gives a start command.  Competitor will start with their hands on the keg.  The farthest keg must be picked first.  It will be carried to the yoke and must be loaded over the bar.  Once successfully loaded, the competitor will return to the second keg and again carry and load the keg over the bar.  The competitor will then load the third and final keg in the same manner.  Time will stop once the third keg is over the bar and hits the ground.  If the competitor is unable to finish all three kegs in the 60 second time limit, they will be scored on distance.  No tacky or gloves allowed on this event.  Load height is 51" for men and 45" for women.

*Note:  Grip shirts are allowed on all events but MUST be worn under the competition shirt.
