We are very excited to be hosting our very first strongman/strongwoman competition! This is a novice only event, perfect for those looking to try the sport for the first time or hone their skills for future events. If you are a high school student looking to compete, you will automatically be placed in the lightweight division regardless of weight.

The Clash of Titans will be a family friendly event with vendors, a food truck, and Freestyle Steve as the dj. We will even have a special "lifting corner" for the kids to try some of the lifts in a safe environment.

Weigh-ins will be Friday, April 11th 8a-8p at M-16 Gym and Saturday, April 12th 7:30a-8:30a at the FBC Uvalde pavilion.

Please make sure to bring your own seating and food.

Event 1: Log Clean and Press

• Women's log 10 inch, Men's log 12 inch
• 60 second time limit to get as many reps as possible
• Each rep must start at the ground and pressed overhead to lockout
• Must show control at lockout and wait for down command
• Do not drop log from overhead. guide it down to crash pads.

Equipment Allowed: Knee/elbow sleeves, soft/hard belts, wrist wraps, grip shirts, chalk/liquid chalk

Equipment NOT Allowed: Tacky of any kind, knee/elbow wraps

Event 2: Deadlift Medley (Farmers, Barbell, Trap Bar)

• Deadlift 3 different implements as quick as possible
• 60 second time limit
• 1 rep each implement, last implement as many reps as possible
• Must wait for down command for each rep
• Must guide weight down or no rep

Equipment Allowed: Knee/elbow sleeves, soft/hard belts, straps, chalk/liquid chalk

Equipment NOT Allowed: Tacky of any kind, knee/elbow wraps, deadlift suits or briefs

Event 3: Farmer's Carry/Sandbag Medley

• Carry implement 25 feet, drop it, and carry it back to start
• 60 second time limit. Fastest time wins.
• Implements must past the lines entirely
• Implements cannot be thrown or tossed
• Unlimited drops
• Sandbag cannot be carried on shoulder

Equipment Allowed: Knee/elbow sleeves, soft/hard belts, chalk/liquid chalk, grip shirt

Equipment NOT Allowed: Tacky of any kind, knee/elbow wraps, straps of any kind

Event 4: Sandbag Throw

• 60 second time limit to throw as many reps as possible
• Bar will be set at 12 feet
• Sandbag must go over bar for rep to count
• No rep if sandbag leaves throwing field (spectator area)
• Must retrieve your own throw

Equipment Allowed: Knee/elbow sleeves, soft/hard belts, chalk/liquid chalk

Equipment NOT Allowed: Tacky of any kind, knee/elbow wraps

Event 5: Hand-Over-Hand Car Pull

• 60 second time limit. Fastest time wins (or furthest distance if time expires)
• Vehicle must be pulled from a seated position
• Feet must stay on platform at all times
• If feet slip off the platform, they must be reset before continuing to pull

Equipment Allowed: Knee/elbow sleeves, soft/hard belts, wrist wraps, chalk/liquid chalk
