No weigh-ins the day of the show, no exceptions, please plan accordingly.
RULES MEETING:
Saturday, November 8th @ 9:15AM.
Registrations received AFTER October 8th are NOT guaranteed a competition shirt.
Dropping out of the competition does not guarantee you receive a shirt as we will prioritize competing athletes FIRST.
Event 1: Log & Axle Clean & Press Medley
- 60-second time limit.
- Athlete will go back and forth between implements cleaning and pressing every rep.
- Athlete will be allowed to start with either implement, but once successful must do their next rep with the other implement.
- Athlete will get a down command when ankles, knees, hips, and elbows are all locked out, head is through, and feet are parallel.
- Split Jerks are allowed, but feet must be brought back to parallel to receive down command.
- Rep must be completed before the time expires.
-Equipment allowed- belts, wrist wraps, knee and elbow sleeves, grip shirts/shorts, chalk, and liquid chalk. All other equipment not allowed unless approved.
Event 2: Farmer's Carry
- 60-second time limit.
- 50ft. course.
- Athletes can start with their hands on the implement.
- The whole implement must cross the line.
- Sliding or dragging the implement will result in a 5-second penalty added onto the finish time.
- Time will stop when the last implement completely crosses the finish line.
Equipment Allowed: Belt, Chalk, Knee wraps or sleeves.
Equipment NOT Allowed: Tacky, Tacky Towel, Lifting hooks, Straps or Supportive suits.
Event 3: Deadlift For Reps
- 60-second time limit.
- Athletes may start with their hands on the bar.
- On "Go," the athlete will complete as many reps as possible.
- Athlete must wait for the down command before lowering the bar.
- ONE warning will be given before a "NO LIFT" will be given.
- Athlete may start a new rep once the weight has returned to the ground.
Good Lift: Athlete must lift the barbell to a standing position with head up, shoulders back, legs and feet in line. Once the "DOWN" signal is given for the lift, the athlete must return the bar to the floor under control. Dropping the bar will result in a “No lift."
Equipment Allowed: Straps, belt, chalk, knee wraps or sleeves.
Equipment NOT Allowed: Tacky, Tacky Towel, Supportive Suits or lifting hooks.
Event 4: Sandbag Carry for Distance
- Unlimited time.
- The sandbag will start on the ground.
- Hands must start with their hands off the sandbag prior to the "GO" command.
- Athlete must cross the line prior turning back.
- Athlete may cross the line with one or two feet before turning to go back
- The athlete will carry the implement for max distance with turns at 50ft.
Equipment Allowed: Chalk, Belt, Elbow/Knee/Wrist straps or sleeves.
Equipment NOT Allowed: Tacky or tacky towel, lifting hooks.
Event 5: Keg Over Bar
- 30-seconds per attempt.
- Rising bar format.
- Athletes will be allowed to "jump in"/start at any weight, however once they do they need to take every weight jump until they are unsuccessful.
- The Keg must completely cross over bar with hands off to count the rep during the allotted time.
-Keg weight starts at 75lbs. Weight jumps will be 25lbs. for ALL classes.
Equipment Allowed: belts, knee and elbow sleeves, wrist wraps, wrist straps, chalk, liquid chalk, gloves.
Equipment NOT Allowed: Anything not listed above.
