This event will take place at VikingsCon festival, so be ready to put on a show! 

Event starts 10am November 1st. 

Weigh Ins: November 1st 730am to 915am.

     We plan to have early weigh ins October 31st. Once location is established we will update. 

Events:

Hercules Hold

Competitor will stand between 2 logs and attempt to keep them from falling away from eachother for as long as possible. Competitor will be holding a standard grip steel handle. This is designed to not only test grip strength, but core stability as well! 

Equipment allowed: Belt, Chalk

Thors Hammer Hold

Competitor will hold a wooden hammer in front of them for as long as possible. There will be a upper and lower height limit marker in place. Each competitor will be allowed 2 reminders to stay in range before time is stopped. Once hammer falls below range uncontrolled or out of reasonable range, time will stop. 

Equipment allowed: Belt, Chalk

Log Load to Timber Cart Push

Competitor will carry logs from the starting line to a timber cart 50' away, and load into cart. Once all logs are loaded cart will be picked up and pushed 50' down to the starting line as fast as possible. Distance will be measured for anyone who does not make it back to starting line in time. Fastest to complete the course is the goal. Timber cart handles will be like a wheelbarrow. Time Limit: 60 seconds.

Equipment allowed: Belt, Chalk, Knee Sleeves, Wrist Wraps, Elbow Sleeves.

Timber Cart Deadlift

Competitor will deadlift the timber cart for amrap in. Weight will increase for each rep. Up and Down Commands will be given. Time Limit is 75 seconds.

Equipment allowed: Belt, Chalk, Knee Sleeves, Elbow Sleeves, Wrist Wraps, Straps. NO SUITS.

Natural Stone

We are still deciding if this will be a load or press event. Depends on the weight stones we can get. Will Update.
