Athletes must wait for a down call from the judges or the lift will not count.

The athlete must bring the sandbag to either shoulder then show control by extending one arm away from the sandbag.

Time to complete last rep will be taken.

Split times are recorded based on when each athlete successfully lifts a specific sandbag weight.

For example:

Athlete 1 lifts the 220 lb sandbag first at 1:15 — their split time is recorded at 1:15.

Athlete 2 lifts the 175 lb sandbag first at 0:45, then lifts the 220 lb sandbag at 1:30 — their split time for the 220 lb lift is 1:30.

If both athletes complete the same weight of a sandbag, the tie-breaker will be determined by who lifted the 220 lb sandbag in the shorter time — in this example, Athlete 1 wins the tie-breaker.If multiple athletes finish at the same number of reps the place will be determine by time.
