IF YOU WANT TO BE GUARANTEED A SHIRT, YOU WILL NEED TO BE SIGNED UP BEFORE AUGUST 30th. I will have other sizes available to buy for spectators and such. 

$5 Spectator at the gate. Children 12 and under are FREE!!! 

Weigh ins will be held Friday September 29th from 2pm - 6pm and Saturday September 30th 7am - 830am. at Metroflex Weatherford Gym.

Rules meeting will start at 8:30am. The competition will begin after at 9am.

This is US Strongman Sanctioned Event also a national qualifier for 2024. You will need a USS membership to compete!!

The following weight class places will qualify for Nationals!

1st Place for NOVICE Men and Women.

1st, 2nd, 3rd Place for OPEN Men and Women.

1st, 2nd, 3rd Place for MASTERS Men and Women

Medals will be awarded for athletes who place. Prize money to top open mens and womens.

If you would like to drive down the day before, There are plenty of hotels in the Weatherford and surrounding areas.

Parking is free at the event.

RAIN OR SHINE EVENT!! BE READY!!

THIS IS AN OUTDOOR COMPETITION!!! IT WILL BE HELD OUT IN THE PARKING LOT!! SO COME PREPARED!! WE WILL HAVE IT SHADED TO THE BEST OF OUR ABILITY BUT WILL NOT BE ABLE TO COVER THE ENTIRE AREA!! SPECTATORS AND ATHLETES WILL BE BE RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR OWN SEATING! BRING YOUR BEST CHAIR!! BE SURE TO BRING PLENTY OF WATER, SUNSCREEN, CLOTHING ETC...

Here are the list of events:  Log Clean and Press Away, Wagon Wheel Axle Deadlift, Farmers Carry, Tractor/Truck Pull

Event 1: Log Clean and Press Away

Athlete will have 60 seconds from the GO command to clean and press as many reps as possible. This is a press away event. You are only required to clean the log once. However you you may set the log down unlimited times and reset. After the log is cleaned, press for as many reps and you can. YOU MUST BE FULLY LOCKED WITH KNEES AND ELBOWS AND WAIT FOR THE DOWN COMMAND FROM YOUR JUDGE. IF YOUR JUDGE DOES NOT GIVE YOU THE DOWN COMMAND IT WILL RESULT IN A NO REP. You may press the log anyway you choose. (Strict, Push, Split Jerk, Etc...) 

Following items are allowed during this event: Belts, Wrist wraps, Knee sleeves, Elbow sleeves, chalk. EVERYTHING ELSE IS PROHIBITED!!

Event 2: Wagon Wheel Axle Deadlift

Athletes will have 60 seconds from the GO command to deadlift for as many reps as possible. BAR HEIGHT will be 13" from the ground. YOU MAY BEGIN WITH HANDS ON THE IMPLEMENT. YOU MUST BE FULLY UPRIGHT WITH HIPS AND KNEES LOCKED OUT TO BE COUNTED FOR A REP.  JUDGE WILL GIVE A DOWN COMMAND AFTER EACH COMPLETED REP. LOWERING THE WEIGHT BEFORE THE COMMAND WILL RESULT IN A NO REP. NO BOUNCING!! THIS IS NOT A TOUCH AND GO! WEIGHT MUST PAUSE ON GROUND BEFORE NEXT PULL. BOUNCING WILL RESULT IN A NO REP! You may hitch if you would like. Shoes are optional. If you make any kind of bodily function on the platform, or leave some of your shin on the bar, YOU ARE REQUIRED TO CLEAN IT OFF!!! 

Following items are allowed during the event: Belts, Standard lifting straps, Figure 8 Straps, Knee sleeves, Elbow sleeves, Chalk. EVERYTHING ELSE IS PROHIBITED!!! 

Event 3: Farmers Carry

Athletes will begin upon the judges GO command to pick up and carry the handles as fast as you can 40ft, drop, turnaround, and carry the handles back to the finish line. Athletes may start with their HANDS ON the implements. THE ENTIRE IMPLEMENT MUST CROSS THE 50FT MARK AND THE FINISH LINE FOR TIME TO STOP!! There will be a judge at each end to verify. There will NOT be a turn around command. The athlete will have to be aware of where they are and ensure they cross each line entirely. However, the judge at either end will tell the athlete if he/she does not have their implement in the clear!! ONLY ONE DROP IS ALLOWED OUTSIDE OF THE TURNAROUND AREA!! Athletes who do not complete the entire course will be measured in feet and from the front of the implement. 

Following items are allowed during the event: Belts, Knee sleeves, Elbow sleeves, Wrist wraps, Chalk. EVERYTHING ELSE IS PROHIBITED!!!

Event 4: Tractor/Truck Pull

Athletes will have 60 seconds from the GO command to pull the vehicle assigned to their weight class. Athletes will be harnessed to the vehicle and begin to pull on a rope anchored on the opposite side until the front of the vehicle crosses the 30ft mark. Athletes who do not cross the 30ft mark will be measured in feet.

Following items are allowed during the event: Belts, Knee sleeves, Elbow sleeves, Wrist wraps, Chalk, ANY FOOTWEAR YOU PREFER TO WEAR (Tennis shoes, Flip flops, Cowboy boots, Boots with the fur, Ice skates, Swim fins, Whatever you want pull in...)

Event 5: Sandbag Throw Over Bar

Athletes will have 60 seconds from the GO command to throw the sand bag over the bar for as many reps as possible. 12ft bar for women. 15ft bar for men. Athletes will start will hand on the pole. Run to the bag and toss it over. If time expires before the bag clears the bar but after it leaves the athletes hands. The rep will count as a GOOD Rep. 

Following items are allowed during the event. Belt, Knees sleeves, Elbow sleeves, Wrist wraps, Chalk. EVERYTHING ELSE IS PROHIBITED!!!

In the event of a tie breaker, Athletes will have a mystery event to decide a winner. Be ready for anything!!

Also being that this is a rain or shine event, special rules and modifications will be put into place for safety and fairness of the athletes.
